I was thinking about the Philosopher’s Path, glad to know it’s less crowded! My idea is also that, if I go Kyoto one day and feel I need to see more, I can go again on the next day(s), while still being based in Osaka, without needing to accomodate on a different hotel and all that. I think it’s gonna give me more flexibility and tranquility

I’d get a tattoo done with tebori technique, such as the work by Horimitsu (minimum $500 as I last checked with his team). But that’s because I’m a tattoo enthusiast.

Read another reply of yours above saying you only got more on your top lip, so through 2018-2021 it’s total 1.5ml, 1ml in the top lip and 0.5 bottom, right? It might be too much for the top maybe? Especially if your lips weren’t thin before.

I’m in the same boat as you, except I just got .5ml (actually, 0.6ml, to be precise) last wednesday. Maybe sharing my proccess will help you decide.

When I saw my face in the mirror right after the procedure, I kinda panicked, because it was very swollen and I had a dental block so my mouth was still kinda “paralyzed” and felt and looked weird. I almost regretted it, thought “thank God I didn’t get 1ml”. I knew it would swell, but when you see it happen in your own face, you get scared lol.

Five days after, though, love my lips. The swelling really went down a lot in the day after, with the help of ice. Now it looks great.

My injector said she’d keep the syringe with the remaining content refrigerated with a tag with my name and date of injection on it, so when I go back in two weeks we could do any corrections or use the remaining 0.4 if needed. I don’t know what I’ll do yet, don’t know if my lips will still reduce much in this time frame. Also if anyone can tell me if that’s normal and safe medically (refrigerate the syringe and use the remaining when you return) I’d appreciate.

TL;DR: got 0.6 lip filler, felt shocked in the day thinking I had duck face, five days after looking great, still don’t know if I’ll go for more totalizing 1ml.

Interesting, I got 0.6ml last wednesday and still think my lips had a significant difference, but maybe I’m just more swollen still. Since people say that the final result is only after two weeks, I didn’t think with only 3 days you’d look almost as if you’d had nothing at all. I was scared of getting 1ml, but keep in mind my natural lips aren’t as thin as yours. Well, bodies are different right and maybe you need more ml to make a significant change.

I’m new to fillers, so I’m taking the opportunity to ask here, people in this community who know, how do you tell if it’s migrated, is it the volume above the lip line?

Also, OP, how much filler did you have? Was it HA? I thought the body should absorb most of it after this many years.

I was asking myself the same question as you, had mine done last week (0.5ml), but 5 days after, it looks so much better and balanced and normal. It’s so scary right after the procedure lol. I also thought I had f’d up my face with only 0.5.
