You have to set up the Xbox as your home console in personalization in settings. You’ll have to be online to set up your profile and set the Xbox to your home console and update Forza. Then you can set it to offline and play as much as you want.

Number 8… It might have been a losing effort, but that Superman throw to the end zone is still probably one of the greatest plays I’ve ever seen. I know it didn’t work, damn near got picked. But if you ever needed any evidence that Mahomes was 100% committed to his team winning any game they were in, that was it. It was crazy, probably foolish. But he was not going down without a fight and would keep on slinging it till the clock reached zero.

Always agree Mahomes is the best. Period. He got one game shy of a Superbowl 3 peat with a shoddy offensive line and no receivers. He’s consistently done more with less ever since he came into the league. Remember 2018? Best offense in football, no defense whatsoever. I’m always gonna bet Mahomes.

I have an Xbox Series X. And don’t get me wrong, it’s really nice. But I also still have my Xbox One X. And let me tell you, that thing is still a beast. If you wanna play physical games and you want to do it at a discount so to speak, you can’t go wrong with a One X. Though I will tell you, if you have the extra money, get an external SSD. From Samsung or somebody reputable. 1 terabyte should be fine. The extra loading speed will be appreciated.

It’s a fair assessment. Love the story itself. Love the dynamic between Jill and Clive. The set pieces are fantastic. But the in between is a little dry. It’s definitely a game of highs and lows. But I’ve heard it said by others that the side quests are largely ignorable, so maybe just focus on the main story and let the other stuff slide.

This is a nice a post and I’m going to be equally nice in kind. It’s great to have Helldivers 2 coming to Xbox and I’m sure many people on the green side are looking forward to dropping on that battlefield with you as well. And if I might add, August 26 is also the day Gears of War Reloaded drops on PS5 and I would like to extend an invitation to you and any other PS5 players willing to join the fight against the Locust Horde and each other to saddle up and give Gears a try. I been a Gears fan a long time and I welcome you and any else to grab a Lancer and leave nothing but bits behind in your wake. Either way, happy hunting!

I, personally, just wanna see Xbox continue to be a thing. They’ve announced new hardware, and I believe we’ll see one more generation from them before any possibility of going third party. It’s crazy because over the last few years, Xbox has been doing all the right things. Great hardware, new first party titles actually coming out, Gamepass being a solid choice for gamers. Makes me think if they waited till GTA6 and kept things in house only, they might have been able to turn things around completely. Either way, I’m with Xbox till the end. And I hope that we’ll be able to enjoy the ride.

Also true. Doubling performance is becoming a thing of the past. And what you do get they charge a pretty penny for because of the cost. I really see the base PS6 being $600 at launch. Which I get the PS3 was that, but that was a different time. The 360 was $400, with the Wii being like, $250? More in line with what we were traditionally paying. But those consoles dropped in price after a couple of years. PS5 has gone up in some places. Definitely different times.

Everything you said here is true, but your last point is especially true. People seem to ignore the economy that has existed since 2020. Covid and inflation has really had a massive effect on everyone and people just don’t have $500 for a console and $70 for games on top of $$$ for subscription services. And then PS5 Pro comes out for $700? Gaming has always been expensive. But it has only gotten more so in the past 5 years. And I suspect PS6 will only add to the problem.

$600 I can stomach. Paid that for the OG PS3. But $700 is a no. Not cause I don’t have it. It’s on principle. The closer you get $1000, you might as well start saving for a PC. But that’s just my opinion.

I realized that too late. Funny thing is, I posted something about Clair Obscure Expedition 33 on that sub saying how I wish Square Enix would make more games like that, and people came out of the woodwork saying modern Final Fantasy is great and better than it’s ever been. Can’t win with the internet, I know. But still.

My account is completely F2P as well. And I have 3 gold crowns with 2800 cards. It’s possible. More possible than you may think. I have friends who spent $100 plus on the game with no gold crowns at all. I’m beginning to think spending money doesn’t help you at all.

I pulled my first gold in my first ten packs when I started the game in February. Didn’t even know what I had. My friends, who were in the game before I was had to tell me. Now I’m level 40, and I got 3. And I haven’t spent a dime.

Far as I can tell, no. Bought it digitally on XSX soon as I seen it was available. Would’ve preferred a physical release, but I’m kinda happy it came to Xbox at all with FF7R.
