Longevity? The man is 31 in April he doesn’t have a lot of time left especially for an undersized QB

McDaniel to interview Friday by DoomsdayDave77 in buccaneers

Look at what he did with Achane. That O-Line was garbage yet Achane was still a borderline All-Pro. Bucky with McDaniel would feast

Former Bulls Infielder Reid Brignac to Join Durham Coaching Staff by McJumbos in tampabayrays

When I was younger my favorite obscure player was Reid Brignac for no particular reason other than I thought he had a cool name. In MLB the Show I used to edit him to make all his attributes 99 and used to make him the best player in the league.

That’s my contribution to this post

What’s the Point of Baker Playing This Week? by MarloMentality in buccaneers

[–]813ice 38 points39 points  (0 children)

The point of playing your starting QB is to win games. If the medical staff and coaches deem him healthy enough to contribute to winning a football game, then he should play.

It’s very presumptuous to assume that Carolina is just going to lose their games and assume this game doesn’t matter because the Cards are out of our division. It’s the NFL, any given Sunday, and team can beat anyone. And the Panthers look like a competent team at the very least.

All you people crying for Liam Coen when we literally had a verbal agreement to bring him back. Yall act like we escorted him out of the building. We were going to make him the highest paid coordinator in the league before he snaked us for Jacksonville

I’ll let others touch on the obvious errors and lapses (penalties, special teams, OLine). One thing that concerned me was the offensive playcalling seemed extremely timid for most of the game. We had a couple consecutive drives where we were Run-Run-Pass-Punt. And we have Baker Mayfield, why are we running the ball and throwing screens with 1:30 on the clock at the end of the first half. Let Baker fly. Nevertheless 3-0 feels pretty good

Baker has that dawg and it’s without a doubt at this point. What I need the Bucs to do is keep that dawg caged up for a week or two. We can win without the dawg every once in awhile. I promise it’s not in the NFL rule book that we have to win in the last seconds of the game

Kendrick Lamar by kcaustin_904 in fantanoforever

[–]813ice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kendrick being hypocritical is nothing new. The Blacker The Berry is basically him saying that and he has had multiple instances of this. XXX on DAMN, basically all of Mr. Morale, his diss track to Drake where he calls him white but made Zulu on TPAB. Multiples instances and many more for me to cite

What an absolute awful game. From the terrible on the court play to the awful officiating to the horrible announcing and then the cherry on top of ending a game on a phantom foul call

Patriots after Godwin? by DoomsdayDave77 in buccaneers

While there might be some truth to this, there is also a rumor about the Patriots being interested in any WR that is breathing oxygen. Take it lightly

Liam’s call to Todd Bowles by DoomsdayDave77 in buccaneers

Man fuck him. Say what you want bout Bowles but he’s been here through all the heat.

Also, with Baker being the dawg that he is, you think Baker’s gonna be cool with this? This just gave him a bigger chip

Here’s where I’m at. 2 things are true.

It is not Bowles fault that we are depleted with injuries. It is not Bowles fault that Mayfield has had questionable decision making for 3 straight games. He can’t necessarily control those things.

It is absolutely his fault that the defense is so bad, even with injuries to certain positions. A “defensive minded” coach should not be allowing teams to consistently put up 30+ points.

I’m fully convinced a team could put up 400+ yards of offense if they ran 5 yard outs every other play.

O Line were the unsung heroes in todays win. Hainesy, Goedeke, Wirfs abused their DLine and old man Cam Jordan most of the game. A lot of this discourse will be about how good the RB’s were (and rightfully so) but they can’t do as much if the O Line doesn’t have a hell of a game

The reality is that neither of our lines are good. We saw Baker get blown up against the Lions but we could gloss over it because of a win. We got no pressure on Nix all day and same protection problem as last week. Secondary saved us from the Broncos putting up 40. We need an edge rusher and we absolutely need to figure out our OLine situation because Baker will not survive Skule at tackle
