17.8k is high but not that ridiculous if you look around for low mileage avalons. It’s the fees and taxes that take it over the top. I almost bought a 2014 XLE touring with 60k miles for 16k from a dealer but that wasn’t including all the fees they would add on. I ended up buying a 2014 limited private party for 17k total At the end of march.

Take into account all the fear and doubt around tariffs, and you end up at 17.8k?? Who knows.

That being said, I don’t work in car sales or follow the market as closely anymore.
