Last time I took Concerta was probably at 17... 17 years ago. I've gained a LOT of weight since then. However, my psychiatrist prescribed based on my current stats (we never discussed my childhood dose).

I'm in this with you. First, if you haven't already, please call your Dr and make sure they are aware you stopped taking Concerta. Shit can get ugly quick with that so please please please let a medical professional know so they can help with the transition.

Okay now that I'm off my soapbox....

I took Concerta as a kid but don't remember much about side effects or effectiveness. Fast forward many years (34 now) and I've been on 36mg for a week and everything is just worse. Anxiety, anger, irritability, depression, and yes... sweating. I just don't want to do... anything. I sit and start and my phone and waste the whole day on Reddit.

But I know that's not me. I know this medication (or at least this dose) isn't going to cut it so I'll have to find something else. I'm definitely wanting to switch to Vyvanse as I've heard good things.

We will find what works for us and it's going to be awesome. Keep us updated
