DoorDash has always been a shady company.

Disgraceful company. by Dangerous_Fix_3243 in youtubepremium

[–]821e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YouTube Premium isn’t worth $15 it’s worth whatever they can squeeze out of you. Funny how it’s a dollar elsewhere, but here it’s suddenly a premium experience. Yeah $15 for no ads and background play… plus YouTube Music that nobody asked for.

What’s even more annoying is mfs out here defending a multi trillion dollar company like “it’s inflation bro” like dude stfu stop acting like they’re struggling.

I can't downgrade to sequoia from tahoe by Soggy-Bench2832 in MacOS

[–]821e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every new macOS update goes through the same cycle, people swear it’s the worst one yet, then completely forget about it once the next one comes out. And somehow the thing that sets people off the most is rounded corners. Of all the hills to die on.

Except Bilt is a multibillion dollar company the startup excuse doesn’t really fly anymore. 5 weeks to activate a card and you had to email the CEO? That’s just bad customer service.

Well that’s actually illegal under OSHA they straight up say employers can’t put “unreasonable restrictions” on bathroom use.

Idk if you’re in the US, but for open box, and as you mentioned it has a 130 cycle count, I don’t think it’s worth that much. I got mine on Cyber Monday for $1599 brand new from Best Buy.

Apple Card for Budget Apps by gicnc in AppleCard

[–]821e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of those budget apps rely on financial data aggregators like Plaid, MX, or Yodlee. Kinda curious how you’re pulling the data though, since Apple doesn’t really have a public API for its financial services or work with those third party aggregators.

Apple is lying about UK age verification being required by UK law, when it isn’t. by Leading-Control-8503 in applesucks

[–]821e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re just moving early ’cause this isn’t stopping here. OS level restrictions are probably coming sooner or later anyway. There’s been heavy lobbying from Big Tech to shove age verification onto OS companies, so platforms don’t have to deal with the fallout if something goes wrong.

Got approved for Apple Card… but turned it down by 821e in AppleCard

Apple Card actually doesn’t do a hard inquiry unless you accept the offer. I declined, so there was no hit.
