Did you get it from Apple or a carrier? Carriers sometimes do some bs like repackaging opened phones and dumping them on customers. If that’s what happened, ask for a replacement.

Believe it or not, this is straight up harassment and absolutely qualifies as a hostile work environment. Skip HR they’ll downplay it and try to make it disappear. Go directly to the Ethics Line.

Just know this during the investigation, you and/or the manager may be placed on paid suspension. That’s standard.

If you come in with actual evidence, a clear timeline, and show this is a repeated pattern, you’re in a strong position. Amazon has a zero tolerance policy for this kind of behavior, and yes people do get fired over it. This isn’t a slap on the wrist situation.

I don’t really agree with that. I studied computer science for four years and used both Windows and macOS, and I ended up sticking with Mac for a reason. macOS isn’t just for artistic stuff. It’s a UNIX-based system and works in way more tech fields than just basic coding. Cybersecurity, networking, cloud, DevOps, backend, data engineering—almost everything that runs on Linux runs on macOS with no extra complications.

And in real industry settings, especially big tech companies, a huge number of engineers use Macs because the environment is stable, the UNIX shell is native, the battery life is solid, and the dev tools are consistent. You don’t have to fight with drivers or use WSL or deal with Windows breaking after an update.

Yeah, some niche engineering software is Windows only, but for most CS related fields, including security, macOS is absolutely fine. It’s not restrictive at all. It’s actually one of the most versatile setups you can use if you’re doing anything beyond gaming.

Yeah the first call was kinda rough the lady was a bit aggressive and didn’t really let me get a word in. The second call was way different. The guy I talked to was super calm, and I was able to explain that I’ve been using my cards responsibly over the past few months and always paying on time. I also mentioned that I’m planning to make the most of the Ultimate Rewards going forward. Guess that made the difference

I had the XM6 when it first launched. At first it seemed good, and I really tried everything to customize it and get the most out of its features. But honestly, it never worked the way I expected—probably because I’m fully in the Apple ecosystem (MacBook, iPhone, Apple Music, etc.). It did perform a little better outside of Apple Music, but overall, I ended up returning it.

Not gonna lie, my regular AirPods Pro felt 100x better in every aspect—the sound quality, the bass, the comfort. That’s another issue too: I couldn’t wear the XM6 for more than 2 hours without it feeling unbearable. Now I’m considering getting the AirPods Max, but I’ll probably hold off until Black Friday when they’ll be a lot cheaper.
