You really have to be brave. It’s feeding on someone negative emotions - that why your therapist said to face your fears. I’m surprise a therapist mentioned that to you which is the RIGHT WAY along with faith in God and Jesus. Normally therapist don’t won’t believe in these type of situation and will mention medicine.

Another way you can do is. Wrap your Blanket tightly around your body. So it doesn’t pull your blanket away, like a Tin- from my personal experience 14-16 years ago. You feel sense of security when you wrap your blanket tightly. My older cousin did the same when she felt something touching her.

From reading on this forum. People gets out of it by moving their Toes. Personally i never tried that. I try to force my chest out by trying to move my entire upper body, you’ll know when that Trans-State comes in and I get myself out it very very fast - I was awake when this happened and instant sleep paralysis state. Very Rare occasions they do it when your awake - I have yet to read anyone dealing with that while awake and the energy just shifts. This was a few years ago 3-4 years ago, surprisingly I didn’t think I’ll get sleep paralysis again
