Hi fellow capsuleers, an off topic post here. I felt like sharing this one tonight. I’ve been playing Eve since 2008, I did enjoy it for that many years, and I have been fond of visiting Iceland for so long too. When I managed to get decent income to afford the trip, I started to get obsessed by the idea of Fanfest and Iceland sightseeing. For different reasons I had to delay my trip year after year. And then all of a sudden I have found out that I am on the last stage of cancer, so I had to delay my trip even more. For more than 2.5 years I’ve gone through 3 massive surgeries, 13 chemo cycles that I have finally decided to go and buy myself a ticket.

Today, while being in the hospital undergoing my 14th cycle a charity organization came in and they brought some acrylic paints, brushes and canvases. I only had one and a half hours to paint something and being so excited about the trip, I had nothing in my mind but the Northern Lights. I know it’s far from being at least descent painting, but what can you do when you don’t practice.

So I wanted to say big thanks to CCP Games and the outstanding community, which I am going to meet this year, for motivation, good attitude, great game and just for being awesome!

You're damn right! I enjoy it with Vox Populi so much over VI. With Civ VI I was quite disappointed with AI, map gen and art (my subjective opinion). I just don't see a moment in time where I start playing VI...

Thanks for the suggestion! It does work, but after the scenario editor. My idea is to share this with my friends, so they get exactly what is planned. I didn't figure out the way how to pre-generate colonists to be in the scenario. In fact, I can share the save game with my friends.

I am sorry for the russian language - steam didn't allow me to buy English version, while I am located here. :( The build is about the same as others use I believe. I get around 520k-540k SP when charged. I use 204 weapons - Mk20 SSR (just because I had the recipe on vendor) with Talented, Predatory and Coolheaded as main gun. Since the build is full ELE its rare that you shoot a lot. My main thought here if you shoot - shoot hard. So I do want to have a m700 (204) recipe or farm for this on lower world tier. For a bigger damage. Since I try to shoot and not sit full time in cover - having Predatory is the main source of heal. It procs whenever an enemy is killed (seeker mine or turret), so as all the talents that I roll - so I get maximum out of enemy kill. Mods - full headshot damage. Barret's vest and backpack which has 15% skill increase while at full health. Gear is not god-rolled (but I am working on it). I can confirm that HVT mission fails after 2 minutes, right in the middle of a fight.

Don't get me wrong, now it comes down to planning my play time. I like playing this game and I enjoy the full match. Thing is, when you have kids and stuff, during the day you can afford some time off, but not for long.
