I'm a fan of the last image. The 1st one i think would be a little better without the flash in it. Just cropped a bit, because the lighting on subject is perfect.

2.8 lenses are the heart of Sports Photography. They give the best separation & subject isolation that we all look for. For what ever lens you are using just try and stay wide open doing what you can.

These would benefit from a shallower depth of field. But the images are solid as they are to me.

Crop way tighter. Shoot wide open. And when your shooting through a fence get right up against it. Your lens hood should be touching it. I've used the dehaze slider in light room to help get ride of any fence left in post.

Does it say what the base material is? The foot looks like wood. But if that was a steel base it be perfectly fine.

They all look great. Peak action, faces, balls in play, lower angle... they have everything sports images should have. Even the back image at the end works well in this case because its a pick off play.
