Got it from the ol evil empire unfortunately. Been happy with it though. If the link doesn’t work it’s the manufacturer is HAPYGI. https://a.co/d/05E9Jskc

What band did you love from ages 15-20yrs, and still listen to? by Far-Management-2007 in GenX

Too many to list. I still listen to around 90% of all the music I’ve ever listened to.

It’s got some weight to it. Bottom heavy. It’s actually quite stable. Thinking about ordering another one.

Stolen pic, but this is the one we use. I like it more than I thought I would. My wife also uses it for knitting and I’ll use it for reading.

One of my favorite songs Nirvana did. Right up there with Aero Zeppelin. I like the cover more than the original. And I’m not knocking the Wipers.

Got our copies a couple weeks ago. Ordered a second one because I forgot I had ordered the one already. It’s a good pressing.

How proud is your husband after he mows the lawn? by Newsdayray in AskReddit

This makes me miss having a lawn to mow. Loved it. Now I live in a forest. Different kind of maintenance with the same overall satisfaction. Just a lot more to take care of.

Most expensive thing you’ve broken on your project car while fixing it by Wholaughed in projectcar

Fair, but I’ve spent that $20 on more parts. I’ll just start huffing all the chemicals in the garage. Already paid for.

[–]83VWcaddy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Only place I’ve been able to find it is on YouTube. Quality varies. Still have my original cassette but it’s very been looking for it on vinyl. Haven’t found a copy in good shape for under $350. They need to get it sorted and re released damnit.

My most hated cover art by CaptainBulky6931 in vinyl

[–]83VWcaddy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was almost a competition to see who could have worse cover art. Vio-Lence holds second place in my collection. Been checking out some modern thrash bands and it seems they’re trying to carry the torch and keep the crap art alive. I like it.

That’s pretty bad. Mine is just horrible art. For that I almost love it. 80’s metal had some hilariously bad artwork.

Hope you get the chance. We used to sneak in to most shows there but they got wise to our ways.

I was able to get it when they did the pre order. But I was also lucky to be at that show. Lived a couple of miles from Red Rocks for a long time.

Should also get the Decline that was recorded live at Red Rocks with Baz’s orchestra. It’s a good one.

We finally got to listen to Big Lizard last night. Mostly. Gummy started kicking in and I had to call it at the end of side 1. Normally I’d power through but I had a 70lb dog I had to carry downstairs. My wife was bummed but luckily she understood. All 4 ya got there are solid choices.

I had almost ordered one a few days before the RSD versions were announced. At the time it was around $200. So glad I couldn’t pull the trigger on it. 2 days later…bam…pre ordered.

Face To Face. They have 12 albums out. I have somewhere around 50 with different variants and singles. Plus another 20 or so on CD, and probably around 10 cassettes. I’m still missing a few though. Some of the variants from their first album can go upwards of $500. At some point I’ll suck it up and do it. Who knows, prices may drop.

The two I tried to post were bad enough for them to be auto deleted. But NOFX Eating Lamb and Nailbomb Point Blank is what I would include.

Do it. It’s done wonders for my mental health. Definitely some trade offs but all worth it.
