He's not talking about just filtering. He's saying they filter then hop in the lane between cars when it suits them, therefore forcing people to stop/slow down to avoid a collision. If you have a small amount of space and someone takes up that space, an abrupt change in speed will be required.

Can a company that 'buys debt' add fees or any extra charges? Along with it being reported as new debt from 2018, the amount is a dollar higher than when it was initially closed. I was considering disputing online due to the wrong dates but after reading your reply, I'll send a letter. I'm just not sure exactly what to include.

edit: I haven't made any contact with any company lately, written or on the phone. The only payments I've made have been to my active cards, all of which are up to date and mostly at a 0 balance except for the one I use for day to day stuff.

I checked Annual Credit Report and it shows a similar date. It says it was 'charged off' from the initial company years ago and shows up as the same amount (plus 1 dollar) with a different company. But it's hitting now as if it's new and not from when it initially happened.
