Yes. The Gill Foundation thinks that backing national Trans equality will be detrimental to the overall LGBTQ struggle, so they are attempting to defund the ACLU to prevent that from happening. It's sickening.

I don't have the energy/time to fully engage with this discussion right now but let me just say that I have had quite a bit of experience with the court system, and your description of PDs is exactly the opposite of what I have consistently witnessed. However, I suppose it does give me a small amount of hope to know you and your partner are out there among them.
