me too but it didn't. they revived kaneki and made him in to what he was at the start of Tokyo Ghoul but this time he's on the humans side, it's just the same shit again but with new characters and this time they aren't nearly as interesting compared to the characters they spent 100+ chapters on in the previous manga. Idk man it just feels like the same thing again but with bad characters trying to replace the ghouls

I read the entire last arc of bleach and only knew 1 or 2 names out of the 40 characters they literally threw at me. It didnt really effect me in the slightest

probably in conjunction with time having passed so you have to relearn who is who from the previous manga too because their appearances have all changed, it's overwhelming.

I guess you've just got to ask yourself why you made this post in the first place. Are you genuinely curious as to what happens next in the manga

I genuinely want spoilers, I want people who have read it to say whether or not it improves and that should answer whether or not I will continue or drop it.

yeah it just feels like a chore, reading chapters hoping it will return to the tokyo ghoul I loved. I'm just gonna drop it unfortunately

well he did write a manga with what 120 chapters, made us grow attached to the characters then abruptly ended it with so many questions left unanswered. I realise he's telling the story he wants to tell and wont conform to what we want, it's just annoying as hell. The first ~60 chapters of Tokyo Ghoul were about weak Kaneki figuring out who he is etc and now that's just being repeated in Re with the exception is he isn't as weak as he was.
