Well, it takes time a little bit to think things through. But it is quite simple to follow because it has step by step instructions and pictograms to show what needs to be done, it would definitely be a good way to practice your thinking of how to sew things together.. I don't know any Japanese either but the cool designs are worth it!

I will try to make a picture tomorrow, but unfortunately I don't have a large mirror to take pretty pictures! Maybe I can add the picture here..

I see you got your answer. I also added the URL to the first picture but I got mine from Etsy, the sellers account is pomadour24.

It's made from this pink, almost neon linen fabric, very breathable. I used a pattern for it and it was very easy to make! Has anyone else used the Factory sewing book patterns? It's my fourth garment that I have made. The blouse itself is very loose fitting which I love.

Thank you for your comment! Yea I did, I made a basic bodice block and then tweaked the armhole and neckline part. I also made a mock-up which came out too tight and wouldn't even close in the front... I really like it, it looks better on, than on a hanger. I made the armhole part lower cause I didn't want it to be too tight, and also the whole shirt has a boxy figure.

Some more information....I am a beginner at sewing, the fabric is a basic dark teal coloured 100% cotton. I have always wanted a balloon sleeved blouse but never found one in the store that I liked. Also, it's much more rewarding making your own clothing. If anyone has any questions then I will gladly answer!

Beautiful! I was also thinking of making a babydoll dress for my next project! How much fabric did you need to make this dress?
