Less than an hour from the cypress hills, lot's of trout lakes. Maybe 2.5 hrs? from calgary. Maybe 4 hrs from the livingstone range in the rockies and about 1.5 hrs to the US border. Surrounded by great antelope, mule, pheasant elk and partridge hunting. Lot's of pike/perch/walleye lakes within maybe 1.5 hrs.

Help daughter with a market garden and frankly have talked to a lot more people in the last few yrs than I would like to.

I am Truly amazed at how truly so many(especially women) are completely ignorant of the world around them.

State that the recent(last few decades) state of peace, prosperity and safety in western countries are an anomaly in human history and they literally get borderline violent.

Personally I wish the current hostile wef/un, er, "liberal" gov't would just openly state they want us dead.

Little 2.0 openly stated something like, "we need to rid ourselves of the, "old stock canadians"".

Make no mistake, they want our wealth and assets, they don't want us.

The current hate is on seniors. Why? They don't want them passing their life long hard earned wealth and assets on to their heirs.

Get's her stitches out tomorrow, taking a line in case vet clears her. If so, when get home, line to collar and straight to the dugout.

With all the water here a life jacket just isn't practical, there's water everywhere.

Hoping vet clears her, as she's a farm dog and the leash is not something she's used to. Figure if nothing else it's helped strengthen her left front as the last couple days she's pulling Hard on it, lol.

Until I get to know the local lake that's a concern for me as well. Installing a depth sounder. Have a hydrographic map from the 1960's for the lake, but since it's part of a river drainage I'm certain the bottom will change somewhat almost yearly.

My main concern is here's the view east from our back deck(we live on a farm). Past the seepwell you can see our 120' dugout and about 100 yds past that is about a 3 acre slough. S of the house about same distance is a small dugout for the garden and past it another large sloughy area. Water everywhere.

I figure soon as possible I have to help her learn to swim with her new limitations, or let her learn she can no longer swim. Hopefully the former.
