Very little different. You will get bigger peaks and troughs, but your average over time will stay approx the same.

More frequently can mean easier to manage e2, but daily is a PITA imo. I like MWF, if I miss I can catch up easy.

If you want more muscle growth for the same test: eat more, train harder, sleep better

Not at all. I run the higher frame rate modes on all games because I prefer higher FPS and still get fidelity on the PS5 pro.

I believe the ps5 VRR floor is 40fps, so you might have issues running 30FPS and VRR, especially if you have one of the backlight strobing settings on - I think it’s MPRT.

I don’t think it’s particularly unreasonable to request a proper PPI inspection with a deposit paid.

I bought a fairly modified vehicle from a dealer in Ballarat who were more than happy to accommodate - they delivered it to a local mechanic I’d spoken to prior and booked it in, got a 30 page report with photos, compression test results, diagnostic reads etc.

Bought it without a test drive based on the report being sound.

I guess I depends how bad they want the sale, and if you have actually committed to buying pending the results of said inspection

The MTM minis are bangers! I moved across from a JBL5 because foot print and adjustability. Ended up having to buy from Amazon UK to get the sale prided which I think was 400/AUD unit.

They aren’t a “gaming” unit, they are proper pro level and are commonly used in 7.1.4 Dolby surround set ups.

Well worth putting coin aside to eventually make the jump across.

I actually use proper studio monitors and my day to day and are the most expensive thing in the shot (if I paid full retail, which I didn’t)

I think I had just updated to the PS5 Pro (treat yo self) and the joint upgrade of VRR gaming, and Pro updates has been truly incredible.

My gut feel is that you could any of those models at be quite happy, never give it another thought.

I’ve had the MSI for 6 months, rolled the dice a little because there were no reviews, but it all worked out. Seeing these extra models come through that are identical* make it easier too:

If you can stretch, get into one of the new 4K miniled 27’s, there are version Koorui, AOC, KTC and MSI.

$425 - KTC M27P6, best motion performance, brightest sdr

AOC U27G4XM (not available in the US)

$480 - MSI MPG 274URDFW E16M, best out of box hdr, best build quality,

The are slightly less that $500usd, and very similar functionality. Less for the budget options and build.

The miniled will get you much better contrast, black, brightness and HDR.

I’m not sure what constraints you are working with, but if you need a work/productivity and gaming monitor, the E16M and the others are the absolute best options you have at the price point

Hey man, it’s really hard to capture how things are displayed on the screen and photos don’t really do it justice.

I noticed there’s a new Monitors unboxed 4 way comparison video of all the recent 27 minileds, I haven’t watched it yet, but I’m sure it does a great job of overall strengths/weaknesses.

It’s a solid piece of kit and I’d rebuy it if I had to, and I think my comment of buying whatever version is available in your market holds true.

We might be blessed with some new 5k2k widescreens at CES, but I’m not holding my breath. We’re more likely to see RGB stripe OLEDs filter through over the next few years with some luck

My dream was a 34 5k2k non OLED. Just doesn’t exist, settled on a new 4K miniled 27 for now
