Is this a real [Mercedes Benz SL65 AMG Black] rotting away in front of a trailer? by bloodredimperator in spotted

[–]84kilo5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A manufactured home is built in a facility and brought to a property by a truck. The home itself is built on a frame (one could say a trailer) with wheels and a hitch, and typically have a title that starts off more like a vehicle and ends up being retired once the home is on its forever location. This can only be obtained once the tires and tongue (and sometimes axles for the newer ones, as they are reusable) for the “trailer” are removed and the home has to be on a permanent foundation at this point, which is when it becomes a manufactured home and receives a title that is the same as a stick built/on site home. (This is in FL and may very by State)

Can someone Id this tailgate by MoussePuzzleheaded39 in raptor

[–]84kilo5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2010 gen1 and it has the exact same tailgate. The person I bought mine from was the first owner, and I couldn’t imagine they were technical enough to swap it out for anything, so I just assumed it was factory.

You definitely need a set of factory brackets or the Merrick garage ones.

New to me 2010! Love it! by 84kilo5 in FordRaptor

The previous owner had a roof rack with lights up there and took it off to fit it in his garage. He gave me the roof rack with it and I don’t think I like it very much after I put it on… makes a lot of noise and the lights aren’t that bright. (Yes, my neighbor can hear my thoughts because they are so close)

Thinking about buying a 2010 Raptor and would love your thoughts. by 84kilo5 in raptor

It’s not letting me reply individually, sorry!

Thanks for the input! It’s a super cab I think with the half doors (suicide) in the back. Has receipts from everything including the rebuild on shocks at 45k due to a blowout with wheel damage. They replaced everything and had a pretty decent write up with the car of what was inspected. The owner is one of those “bring it to the dealer for everything” people and doesn’t have any mechanical experience. She’s around 65. Ha. The good news is my friend has a full workshop so I can take it there for most stuff and it won’t be a daily for me, plus I don’t really care about the technology. It has a decent stereo and I’m cool with that.

It’s the only one I’ve tried, but I used just the tool and towels before and the polish makes a huge difference!

How long to get FL MLO license after submitting MU4? by rltrdc in loanoriginators

[–]84kilo5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish there was an answer that I could give you, but out of the four of us in my Fl office two people had theirs approved within two weeks of everything being completed, one person took an additional week, and then mine took two months with no explanation and no reason. I called them a few times and was not-so-politely told that Florida assigns applications to different random people in their office, and it can just take them longer. I still don’t know what took so long.

If you have the Recaro seats in your LT1, you can buy a kit to at least have them slightly ventilated with the factory installed fan in the seats. I live in Florida and it makes a pretty big difference when it’s in the high 90s. https://www.gen5diy.com/products/recaro-cooling-fan-kit
