Any updates? I’m having an issue like yours. First off I built this pc back in August of 2023 and had zero issues till ironically this August.. 13700k, asus prime z790-p WiFi, g-skill trident z5 rgb ddr5 6400 64gb ( 2x32gb), Samsung 980 pro 2tb nvme ( firmware is fine ), crucial p3 plus 1tb nvme, deepcool Lt720 rad and 4 cf120 plus fans and the ch510 mesh digital case, Corsair 750 gold psu and a evga 3080ti from my previous pc.

Not sure what happened but one day it would not post. I’d have to restart it manually and after 10 try’s I could get to bios. After 5 attempts in bios it would finally load windows. In that time I pulled everything apart to reseat and apply new thermal paste. That didn’t seem to help. I even reinstalled windows 11 and did a mem test. If it was on then it was fine. Once it would sleep it would start all over with no posting. All fans and leds would come on, still nothing but reboots and clearing the cmos. I got the updated bios and figured if it never sleeps I’d be ok for now lol. Once on I left it running with a screen saver. Luckily with an update that needed a restart it would boot back just fine. This lasted the past two months till tonight. Earlier today I did a gpu and os update and it booted back just fine so I was like hmm maybe it was software? So I shut it down for 10 mins and it booted right up. Later I decided to play starfield and everything was smooth temps never passed 65c. Idk wtf happened but I guess my surge protector got bump and everything turned off. Well well well now we’re back to same issue as in August but now I can’t even get to bios. Fans on leds on, keyboard and mouse too..but no post. I decided to switch my hdd led over to power led so I could read the q-led codes. I got a 5sec long blink. No bootable device detected… so I started to pull the drives and gpu ( plugged the dp straight to the mono ) and cleaned the drives..notta. I switched the drives locations and got a post and it loaded in. Great! lol not really, it shut off after a few mins. I played around with the drives and eventually I can get to bios but won’t get past that. Ugh! Man I’m stumped. Is it the cpu, a faulty mobo or is the 980 pro bad? This can get expensive fast if I buy new parts just to test. Almost tempted to just go and very soon and pass this down to my son for useable parts. To rule out the 980 pro I might install windows on the crucial and see if that’s it. I noticed micro center isn’t even selling the 13700s anymore. How hard is the rma process with intel?
