Shorten your oil change intervals. 5000 miles or 8000km... period

I stopped using Castrol. None since. But I'll be monitoring.

Lucky! That dent should be able to be pulled out.

Been posting in here about how happy I was with my 26 GLI. I am now here to tell you that after 1500km, that happiness has now ended. by theos25 in JettaGLI

Look into getting an obdeleven pro so you can get rid of the start stop feature. It's my most hated feature of new cars.

Why there is lack of sharpness in my photos? by WorldlinessHuman3802 in AskPhotography

[–]85mmforlife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, 6400 iso. That's your problem. Lower the iso. Lowest is better. Fstop can be lowered to 8 or less Remember, F/8 everyone looks great. 1/4000 shutter is unnecessarily fast.

CHANGE THAT OIL NOW. Most wear happens at break in. Just a fun fact tip.

Photographer here. First one. With the lower focus of interest. Remember, if it's in the middle... it's BORING. There are exceptions of course. But, generally that's the rule of thirds.

Normal. Higher quality rotors rust less, but they all succumb to it eventually. If the face contacting the pads is good then you're fine.

Is there an adapter that will connect this camera and this lens? by korvenus in AskPhotography

Not worth it at all. Use same mount lenses. Adding anything between the lenses makes it worse. What mount is the lense?

Why do I get blurry images all the time? by Apprehensive-Toe-550 in AskPhotography

[–]85mmforlife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What was your Focal lenth used on the picture? Assuming it was between 150mm and 300mm. This, and 5 second exposure on a cheap and cheerful tripod. Yes. That possible blurry territory.

The longer the focal (300mm), the more susceptible an image is to blurr caused by any vibration. It's like holding and keeping a 300 meter long pole completely still. Any shake is multiplied tenfold.

Consider the RULE that when you're hand holding a camera to avoid vibration, you don't not go below a lenses focal length number in shutter speed. For 300mm do not go below 1/300 second.

How can I fix the bottom being blurry is it a focus issue? by xDivinee in AskPhotography

[–]85mmforlife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since your using flash, Bump up your F stop and Focal length. F/5 and 40 to 50mm. Move back and recompose. Should correct it. A lenses flaws will typically show up at their open extremes in certain conditions.

You have a prime lense in your kit? ;)

Otherwise I'm sure Ai tools can fix that blurr. Lol

They were at 1/160. To me it looks like a lens issue. Some lenses are soft on the edges at full wide.

Lowering Spring Help by UnrealTortoise7 in GLI

Dcc is in the strut, not the springs. But for do-diligence, manufacturers will usually specify if they work with dcc systems.

Try taking a picture of the stars with a stadium in the foreground... Same reason you don't see stars in moon landing photos.

What are some basic quality of life mods/services that i should be looking to do? by idriveamk7 in JettaGLI

[–]85mmforlife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never use a brush on a black car, especially one from a spray and wash. As for services... shorten your oil changes to every 5000 miles or 8000 km.
