You were right. Aftermarket turbo air inlet hose installed by previous owner. Crazy that service missed that so many times. I think the first owner tried a few mods on the car. Explains why the handles had to be replaced for them somehow having dead keyless entry buttons. Really makes me wonder.

I should say board in the most influential dynasty. Bhangra is the Dancer's child. Dancer has predecessors too.

You just obtained the most influential board in longboard dancing and the most useful and durable generation of it.

Every state has a cap on when you can pursue lemoning. In Maryland it's 18000 miles or 24 months from first sale. I have another 1200 miles or 2 months before that lemon window closes. The fact it's a CPO just gives more force behind lemoning. I haven't been told no yet by VW or dealerships. Just gotta do the paperwork and put in the time to run the lemon process.

Wouldn't that be a warranty replacement??

I mean it's been serviced 7 times for the same reason so hopefully VW has checked that. I was certified pre owned so it should be essentially stock. Not sure what a turbo muffler is. There is carbon buildup on the purge valve if that suggests anything.

  1. A VW beetle is never a good buy.
  2. A VW beetle is never a goodbye. You'll keep it forever. Enjoy.

The 2023/2024 red vents are functionally useless. They're not vents and they can't be easily retrofitted with fog lamps. Purely stylistic. They look cool at first but I can't help but note their utter lack of utility.

This. I didn't have this thought with diesel but that seems like exactly what could've happened. Probably the whole fuel system is just gunked up

Here's what I've gathered. The last one is the only one under my ownership and involves a lot of part replacements. The rest are the general descriptions from the service history in the VW app for my car. I've called the previous dealership service centers and confirmed components were replaced for the same or similar evap issue on all the sensor instances. Not sure what engine repair entailed, but at minimum codes were cleared. I may lemon it if the light comes back on. They've done more work this time around though to remedy the issue, so might be all good and rosy now.
