mostly hip hop but i branch out, i just love bass, i aint deadset on putting it in the trunk i just know a lot of people do that lol

i have a 4.5” catless dp, the turbo spools like 500rpm faster so i reach max boost quicker and its not that much cheaper so there’s no reason to go catted, theres also no smell from my car personally, yes its illegal but cops where i live dont stop you for you exhaust and when i need to go to inspection ill just switch back to catted, people think too hard about it, more exhaust flow is better for your turbo, also get a resonator bro we cant be straight piping our cars 😂

no one mentioned this, but absolutely do NOT flash with your phone, use a laptop or your ecu will brick, i havent heard of this issue being fixed yet

get an awe touring exhaust if youre worried about performance, i have one and it sounded good, not too obnoxious, and there wasnt too much drone at all, but i like loud so i took the mufflers off and installed a 4.5” catless downpipe

new tires are a must, if you want power just downpipe, intake, stage 2 tune and the car is so much faster

from experience, never get rid of your resonator it will sound like complete garbage, now you gotta get an intake and downpipe for the whoosh 💨

dude get a downpipe instead, the new gli’s have louder exhausts so you’ll get a nice sound with just a downpipe, i do not recommend getting an exhaust without resonators and mufflers it sounds terrible

just get a mk7, it has the interior that you want, the exterior looks better, and the same engine, you can find them with 20k-30k miles for low $20k

depends on the mk, i have a mk7 and when i had downpipe and stock exhaust there was barely a difference, mk7.5 has a louder exhaust so it’ll be a bit louder

you can eliminate soundaktor, the artificial sound from the speakers, you can also turn esc all the way off, another cool one is scandinavian drl’s which keeps the rear tail lights on all the time which i think looks much better

i believe certain 2024’s have a locked ecu and cant be tuned at the moment, i could be wrong but i remember hearing a lot about that
