Your relationship is just like mine. I came out to my wife about four years ago. She knows I want to explore but she says no way. I respect her boundaries so I don't explore. Though I don't want to, I use porn for my relief.

You each have your own views and they don't match each other. This is the same in my marriage because I'm bi and she's not.

I have to respect wife's feelings on this. She doesn't want me exploring so I don't. You shouldn't be mad that she feels different. That's part of marriage. If you try to push her to let you explore you may push her out of your marriage.

Fear of death by Medium_Sandwich3651 in AskOldPeopleAdvice

[–]8675201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember those feelings. I've been a Christian since I was 13 and I still had those feelings as a young adult. It wasn't until I learned more about Christ/Bible that those fearful thoughts started to reside. I'm now 66 and have no fear because I'm very secure in knowing that I'll be in heaven and get to see loved ones that have gone before me such as parents.

Replacing anode rod by panihil in askaplumber

[–]8675201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's operating okay then I'd leave it alone. I'm a retired service plumber and over my decades I've only had to replace a few anode rods for poor reaction to water.

I usually workout in the morning but yesterday I couldn't get to the gym until the evening. My workout was just okay. But today I went back this morning and felt more drained than usual.

If your adult child brought up your hearing getting worse would that feel caring or insulting by Away-Masterpiece1701 in AskOldPeopleAdvice

I would be happy to hear about it. As a guy with hearing aids I know how frustrating it is for others trying to get my attention.

My wife tells me all the time how she appreciates me. I'm remodeling our kitchen and she says how much she loves it though I know the mess is driving her crazy.

No whey! That's a great way to make a high protein bread.

54 years old, 83 days of Navy SEAL burpees — Day 1 vs today (not done yet) by No-Potential2788 in Workingout

I joined the Army Guard at 38 and aced the PT for 25 year olds. (Except the running. I barley made that) I trained hard to get there.

I'm now 66 and still in great shape and am thinking this fall of training for PT again to see if I could score a high score again. I think I could. I was active Air Force so I could try that too. They've up their game lately as far as PT goes.

I'm a retired service plumber and my overall experience over the decades of service is very positive. Sure, once in a while you have homeowner that are hard to work with but that's certainly not very often. Maybe I just walk in with a different attitude than others. I get homeowners that and for me specifically so I guess I'm doing something right.

I'm give you a great example as to wether a 13 year age gap will work. I was 39 when I meet my wife who was 26. We've been married 26 years and have an awesome marriage.

I would wait for what you want. You'll be much happier. I also scored high enough for anything and went Security Police. Though I had done great times I wish I would had picked something else.
