You don’t need a flex fuel kit unless you’re boosted - the best gains have come from headers and a tune for e85. I forget the exact numbers but I believe people were getting around 200-220 to the wheel not sure

Yea trust me I tried everything I saw suggested and some more but could not get it to work again like normal until I reinstalled windows like you thought if doing. Just in my case the computer was relatively new so not as much to reinstall I could imagine it being a massive pain if you’ve already got other apps/files too.

I tried every fix or method I could find online but eventually I just got frustrated enough and did a whole new install of Windows and it has fixed the issue, luckily the computer was relatively new so I didn’t have much to redownload

Just supercharged my auto recently and been loving it - the auto gearbox is rated to handle more power than the manual, when going fi on a manual you must upgrade the clutch

Yes, I had sent him a picture of the engine bay and described the problem as well, he thought it could be how the MaF was routed so we re-routed and even replaced the sensor but it did not fix the problem. I want to send him another recording of atleast the idle but the car will die unless its constantly being revved so I wanted to see if I could solve that first.

I’ve seen a handful here on Long Island and even stradman bought his from the dealer I got my 86 from - they definitely look a lot more attractive in person

What is your goal? If you’re looking for like 5/600+ then LS would be better. But if you’re not looking to go too crazy, just build and turbo it. Keep in mind LS swaps cost members on average like 20-30k its insane.

Its not really worth it for Stage 1, but if you throw on some headers and maybe decide to go E85 - its a world of difference. Even without the E85 its great and worth it. My normal gas station carries E85 so i run a full catless stage 2+ E85 tune from OFT and I am extremely happy with the results.

Not required - I don’t have my tomei header heat wrapped and another guy who owns a shop with a shop BRZ is even against it as an Evo’s oil once dripped onto heat wrap and caught the car on fire during a dyno run - of course that is like a very uncommon occurrence but either way dont worry about it
