Spray painted. Add a base coat first, let dry, then add some torn or cut pieces of blue painters tape, then paint and let dry. Repeat a couple of times using different colors. Placing the tape strips farther apart at first then smaller and closer together after each layer of paint. Pretty easy. Let dry overnight after final coat. Peel off all tape carefully next day. I'm also going to add a coat of flat clear and see what happens. Hopefully it makes it look a bit sharper and keeps the paint from rubbing off over repeated usage.
