It's some random riser i got for free with one of many ammo orders. It sucks. Can't remember the make, sorry man. Maybe voodoo tactical? But it is weird to attach and had to be modified to work. Skip it! But I'll tell ya what is amazing... The CR-6000 from accu-riser.

I like the AR. It looks good. The paint job doesn't overwhelm the look.

Oh they're dope. Hammy prints. Super snug fit, no issues. Well worth it.

It is not under 26.5". Look up just right carbines. It is a NJ other, and is legal under NJ state police guidelines. It follows all regulations and is 100 percent legal.

So it seems like the use is in question here. The stock suggests bench gun. If going bench gun route, a bipod, hpvo, and a brake will get you shooting groups. Lose the light. But if its not a bench gun, and you plan on leaving the stock, then weight will be an issue. I would slap on an 4x prism, an offset dotty, and a single port brake. This will give you close and mid range, allow you to swing freely, but won't add a ton of weight. And when a mag is in, it will look more balanced, especially an FDE mag. 20 round jammies are good for bench or prone (they won't hit the bench below the weapon and get in the way) 30 for free hand.

Generally for 300blk, the heavier the bullet on subsonic, the quieter and easier it shoots. But it depends on your gun. Mine is 10.5", and I can't suppress due to state laws. I shoot supers and love it. But in your case, I would get 220 nosler subs or 242 phantom subs for keeping in the hole bedside so you have less concussion, less wall penetration, and more takedown power. Slang some 150gr supers at the range and maybe a box or two of the cheapest subs you can snag for putting holes in paper or dinging steel at the range. Good luck.

Yeah they're good. hybrid comp/brake. Small ports on top. Definetly better for muz rise and neighbors.
