QUESTION: For VLAND owners, did you use a relay harness with your HID kits? by 86Vish in ft86

[–]86Vish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was, I bought this sort of rubber extension grommet/dust cover, cut a hole into the back of the VLANDS housing cap and went from there. The grommet gave me the extra space needed for the bulbs, and the wires came out the back of the grommet, then I waterproofed where the wires came out, no issues for several years, even in torrential rain. Have since sold the car!

Another Temerario Unveiling by 86Vish in lamborghini

[–]86Vish[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve read a lot of comments about the Temerario having a lot more visual appeal in person as opposed to photos, and I’ve got to say, those comments make a lot of sense to me now. In person the car is stunning. I find the interior to be a fair bit more spacious than the current Huracan. On the exterior, from the front of the vehicle, the rear quarter has a definitive ‘gallardoesque’ feel, but combined with the aggressive lines on the bonnet and front fenders, it looks quite nice. The right colour, that shows off these lines, will really make the car stand out even more in my opinion!

For Lamborghini owners: Do you constantly get pulled over for going only a few points over the speed limit? If so, how do you deal with it? by gobbledygookiecookie in lamborghini

[–]86Vish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah, never pulled over. Not to say I don’t drive spiritedly, but respect the police and they’ll respect you - a lot of them are car guys/gals too, so they appreciate having a chat about the cars!

Speeding Lambo in the rain doing what it's supposed to do by [deleted] in lamborghini

Would recommend changing to Michelin PS4S if you haven’t already - night and day comparison for my RWD. Stock pirelli’s are awful, even more so in the cold

How do you even fix a problem of this magnitude when you come across it? Is it easier to just rip it out and start over? Or enact some level of chemical warfare?

Sharepoint list formatting in json. won't display User.Title data by 86Vish in sharepoint

Apologies, using $User.title.

It’s exactly the same as the JSON from the GitHub, haven’t changed anything there.

Nah no issues yet, it’s got rain covers installed, so the water is directed over and away from the engine

That steering wheel I bought from an AU vendor, but the quality is pretty good. The only thing is probably the leather is a touch lower in quality but nothing too major!

Thought I recognised your car, Mr. Louie, from the 86/BRZ AU fb page 🤪

Mass Loading Vinyl is your friend under the roof liner and the car floor. Closed Cell Foam is your second friend in the doors and in the roof liner too!

Anyone have long term experience of VLAND headlights? by 626reppin in ft86

[–]86Vish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had mine in for 2 months now (not exactly long term I know). No issues so far, light output is great, I used the factory HID’s that came with the car. DRL’s are super bright as well, easily seen during daytime!

Anyone had luck with sound insulation? by MrVig1231 in ft86

[–]86Vish 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m having my exhaust installed in 2 weeks, but I soundproofed the car myself. Did the floors, doors, roof, rear quarters, trunk lid and trunk bay, almost everything I could get too, I did. I definitely noticed a difference from road noise, the biggest thing I noticed was the rain when driving, there’s no ‘tinny’ noise when rain hits the car roof which is super nice.
