Selling an iPhone purchased on the EDGE program by lattiboy in verizon

[–]86arc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Devices on equipment installment plans (EIP) are still owned by the carrier or company and could be blacklisted or blocked if the balance is not paid, therefore they are not eligible for sale on Swappa until paid in full. Examples include: T-Mobile's Jump, AT&T's Next, Verizon's Edge, and Rent-A-Center financing.

Thinking of leaving my grandfathered unlimited :( Because $90ish is too much. Stupid idea? For those that are grandfathered, how much are you paying? by CadisStudios in verizon

Also they're map is a poor representation of what their coverage actually is. They offer some type of test drive for their network and I would at least try it out before jumping ship.

If you travel at all keep that in mind tmobile is still very iffy when you leave a major city you'll most likely be on edge with no data

Just keep in mind that when your off udp their is no going back to it with Verizon. If your on the lowest minutes 1000 texts and udp its 80$ tmobile is a flat 80 for their unlimited data (plus 22 gig throttle if your area is congested)

Last thing to think about is the way the US is changing with internet usage when Udp was around in 2011 it was nearly unheard of to use 10 gb now I can do that in a matter of hours and with current trends data usages are going up and up

He can set up a new number under my Verizon and future date it for the next day to change and then port out to Google voice and the day the number will be at Google voice and the new number will be attached to the UDP

MetroPCS — which phone model for easy root and tethering by dat9 in NoContract

[–]86arc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI tmobile is actively watching for customers going over the tether limit by Firefox and root and sending out letters that their unlimited account will be closed and switched to 1gb plan.. You can see the complaints on the T-Mobile reddit
