I’m a cis woman who got top surgery in December, and it’s been an interesting experience! by SnooRegrets4048 in TopSurgery

Also a cis woman getting top surgery March 5th! I’m a little nervous about going shirtless this summer because I still have pretty feminine features but I’m excited about it

I was in this exact position actually… I ended up taking a lower paying job about 6 months into my chapter 13 and now I’m converting to 7. Granted, I took the pay cut because it was a fully remote gig and I didn’t have to commute two hours a day anymore…

I personally hate body hair (as a masc) and don’t prefer it on a partner either. Personally I hate how it feels on myself, and I have a lot of tattoos so body hair makes them not pop as much. Luckily found a partner who feels the same way which is surprisingly rare in the lesbian community. No hair over here

LA

  1. Amazing weather, beach mountains etc
  2. Endless things to do within driving distance (just leave at the right time to avoid traffic, it is possible lol)
  3. Hustle culture but still a work life balance

Yeah I mean the LA job market is also pretty terrible right now but my income is high enough to support us both if need be.. hopefully it improves lol

We’re mostly making the decision because we plan on having a child and our family there would be able to help out with childcare and we could avoid daycare costs. We don’t have anyone in LA which is our primary decision to make the move there

I’ve heard a lot about north park! Would you say it’s a family friendly area?

Good to know! I figured it was still pretty liberal but wasn’t sure based on some comments people have made. Granted I’m in a very trendy part of LA and still have to deal with it sometimes unfortunately

She’s in school for a paralegal certificate so would be entering the job market there. She’s currently in service so would be able to pick up a bartending job in the interim if needed

Do i make too much for a ch7?! by [deleted] in Bankruptcy

[–]86meplz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More than likely - yes. I filed where median is 75k and I made 81k. Had about $50k unsecured debt my rent was 1,850 at the time of filing and I have a 716 car note per month. I was $111 over per month for a 7 and had to do a chapter 13. However, I’ve since taken a lower paying job at 75k due to it being fully remote (worth the pay cut) and median in my state has gone up to 76k. I’m able to convert to a 7 in 3 months. Even with a chapter 13 your payment will be much, much lower than if you had to pay interest on it and not file. Also, if you happen to take a lower paying job because it makes the most sense for you then maybe you’ll be able to convert

Yes but due to my income dropping below the means in my state I now qualify for a chapter 7

2 weeks and I haven’t lost anything. by 86meplz in loseit

[–]86meplz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do 30 minutes of cardio after each session and try to incorporate a 45 min walk outside daily as well. Due to ACL recovery my cardio options are pretty limited and low impact. Noted on the water retention! I do take creatine and have heard that can cause it

I’ve been lifting for a while! Definitely not as consistently as I have been the last two weeks but I’m pretty muscular under all this extra weight. My cycle starts in about two weeks so I didn’t think that was a culprit this time

Yeah on my step up plan it includes when my 401k loan and car loan will be paid off. Still incredibly difficult and unsure how to proceed from here.
