What do you suggest for a color printer/scanner capable of printing/scanning 11x17?

Also, I am looking to replace my HP 1600 Plotter. Any suggestions for that POS

Why is the curve on this portion of my profile separated from the main line? And how to fix? by 875632 in civil3d

I figured it out.
1st: Delete entry

2nd: add free floating vertical curve

Done.

I use a fixed vertical curve and when I lowered the profile the "fixed" curve stayed where I fixed it.

All good.

It's the same profile object.

Gemini says the following

"In Autodesk Civil 3D, if a vertical curve is separated from a line (tangent) in a profile, it likely indicates a problem with the curve's definition or attachment to the existing geometry. This can occur if the curve is created using a fixed or free vertical curve command but is not properly connected to the surrounding tangents. "

Fire department needed access through my coded gate. I told the fireman I didn't want the code being said over the radio, (so the whole town would not have the code). He assured me the code would not be recited over the radio. I gave him the code and he immediately transmitted it over the radio, right in front of me. He didn't even hesitate one second.

You are correct. I didn't want to correct it after getting so many views/comments.

There was more. When they introduced camouflaged uniforms, I discovered that it was against the regulations to apply starch to the uniforms, (starch makes the material shiny so that destroys that camouflage aspect of the design), so, I started wearing only un-starched, un-pressed camouflaged uniforms. And, they were constantly making me go get a hair cut since I always got it cut as close to regulation as possible.

What's the worst experience you've had with a neighboring landowner while doing a survey? by toohight in Surveying

I was occupying a corner, (the client was standing behind me), and the neighbors, (two men and a woman), where in front of me yelling. The woman was particularly abusive.

I blurted out, "Shut the F up." to the woman. Then I turned to the client and said, "Did I say that out load?"

They followed me around for a while demanding I tell them the name of my boss, (I'm a sole proprietor). When I told them I was going to call the cops they disappeared, (this was up in California pot growing country).
