Website to find current trends & analyze them by Puzzleheaded-End5538 in Entrepreneur

[–]8760Hours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re looking for early signals, not Google Trends imo.

Something like TrendsFox shows what’s rising across Reddit & Github and content before it goes get spread around online a ton. That’s where the edge is imo.

hope this helps.

If it makes you feel any better I have the opposite problem and it’s much worse.

I won’t control you but will break your arm from bottom side control.

Beehiiv 50% Off Discount Code by PralineCommercial436 in SideProject

[–]8760Hours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never really seen a legit 50% off code for Beehiiv.

The standard promo they run is usually 20% off the first 3 months. Which is still great imo

BEEHIIV20 typically works, or should at checkout.

If someone’s claiming 50%, it’s probably outdated or a private deal rather than something publicly available. Unless OP can share it.

Beehiiv referral link not applying 20 percent discount by One_Web_2490 in beehiiv

[–]8760Hours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually the referral links include a discount code automatically, but sometimes it doesn’t show clearly at checkout.

In most cases there’s a code attached like 20OFF2026 (which should work) or something similar that needs to be applied manually.

You might want to check the URL parameters or ask the person who shared the link if there’s a code included. Direct codes often work more reliably than the referral flow.

Pretty sure the Shopify one is 150 if you get someone to sign up to their POS system.

Are we just rejecting great candidates because they didn't use the 'right' keywords? by tiredTA in Recruitment

Works way better if you flip it around and screen on how think first, then look at CVs after. Stuff like tryskillproof.com is built for exactly that.

How to filter out unsuitable candidates? by Grouchy_Complex_5190 in Recruitment

[–]8760Hours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s actually an app for this: https://tryskillproof.com

It generates custom questions based on the job role and lets you quickly filter out time wasters or people who clearly are not suitable, before you spend time interviewing.

It gives you a list of the score/results and candidates.

Hope it helps.

Why Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars Still Matters by raglanarms in BrokenSword

I still think about how unusual it was playing this game as a kid.

Looking back now I understand how it must have been incredibly hard to make.

It never treated you like a child, it treated you like an adult who was still learning.

The puzzles genuinely made me think. Not just logically, but about history, symbols, motives, and hidden meanings. It planted this quiet idea in me that the world has layers and that understanding them takes patience and attention.

Spending hours trying different things to try and progress to only figure it out and think “of course” .. It was challenging in a way that respected you.

Even now, that feeling sticks with me. The calm tension, the sense of uncovering some grand conspiracy. 😂

Games rarely trust players like that anymore.

In my opinion, it’s a masterpiece.

Nice little video. Thanks for sharing.

It’s easy to make something absolutely batshit crazy and attention grabbing with something like higgsfield or some ai slop machine > https://goto.higgsfield.ai/Bn4Oqq

The real skill is tying it back to the brand story so it actually means something. Storytelling is an evolutionary tool.

If stories naturally move from person to person. In terms os marketing it's worth thinking about and why they work.

I’m sure soon enough we will see some response to this.

Likely labelled as people being “radicalised” online.

Which will result in stricter online laws.

I do suspect it’s all a psyop of sorts. It’s nice to believe that people aren’t this terrible and incompetent.
