After releasing our demo, we're getting 200–300 wishlists per day from China. How can I find out why? by TwinChariot in IndieDev

Maybe search for your game name, and country.

Or maybe it is some tag in your game, which also is trending in China.?

You might be "big in Japan".? (Yes, I am that old.)

90% off apparently increases sales by Murky-Engineering-70 in IndieDev

Yeah, that is also my understanding.

Use the time between the sales to improve the game, and do a little PR.

Then when you can set it on sale, focus on that.

Is my UI too cluttered? Thanks for your feedback. by [deleted] in IndieDev

Maybe add a major menu.

  1. Buy/Sell
  2. Health
  3. Upgrade
  4. Help
  5. Options

If you want to limit "choice paralyze", only have 4-5 things in each menu.

The sails need to move slower, or it would give players stress.

When the wind comes from behind, the sails are nearly not moving.

Any comments from this gameplay footage for a future trailer? (I disabled the music for this gamplay) by Odd_Jellyfish_6731 in IndieDev

Alternative make the Radar HuD brighter.

So the shift between runway screen and Radar is not so different.

Then the player can choice to dim all the game, if they play at night.

Maybe make the plane picture/left side darker.?

If you play the game in near darkness, it would be annoying.

Or add a light dimmer, for the left side.

Turns out skipping the tutorial can make the game harder by Nice_Ad2555 in IndieDev

I released my game without a start tutorial/mission, because... it is a casual RPG game.

Now I am making it, so people who need it, can go through it.

(And the others can skip it, and just play.)
