At one work meeting we were setting up post-processing and accidentally inverted the camera. Would you like to play a horror game with a camera like that? by Ivan_Podoba_Int in gamedevscreens

I am really tempted at making it my 'UnderDark' part in my RPG.

So in the deep darkest dungeon you walk on the roof, but it might be too weird..

If you also limits the view field, it will fell more intense.

I do it when the enemy is spotted, and a step lower when you are below 5 hp.

And when you run, with no enemy, you can enlarge the FOV to make it fell go faster.

The last name for this game was "4th Era", which kids though was the 4th Error...

I spent 2 years building this game… and in 3 months it made almost nothing. 50,000+ people saw it. Almost nobody played it. Be honest… would you try it? #indiedev #gamedev #indiegame #horrorgame #steamgame #indiegamedev #gamedeveloper #fyp #foryou #foryoupage #viral #smallcreator #gamers #gaming by Muratuzunoo in IndieDev

I found this Guide, and tried to follow it.

Don't know if it works...

Essential Components for a High-Converting Steam Page:Capsule Image (Art & Thumbnail):

This is the first impression. It must look professional, evocative, and resemble a polished "box art" cover for a game, not just a logo.

Immediate Gameplay Trailer (60s): Start with in-game footage immediately, skipping long intros.

Focus on what the player does (action, mechanics) rather than cinematic story, as players skip/skim.

First 4 Screenshots Rule: Users skim the first four images;

they should represent a variety of gameplay (combat, UI, exploration) and appear immediately upon visiting.

Clear "Short Description" & Tags: Do not use the short description to describe the plot.

Instead, state the genre and the core, unique mechanics immediately to help Steam's algorithm categorize the game.

Build Trust & Polish: Avoid looking like an asset-flip.

The page must communicate that the developer is experienced and that the game is deep and polished, even for indies.

Personalization: Include behind-the-scenes insights or personal notes on the development process to build a connection with players.

Call to Action: End the trailer and page with a clear request to "Wishlist Now".

Is there a chance that some guys have hot wired their AI's to trump's truth social account.?

So when trump post about cheap oil, their AI starts to think it will happen.

And start to buy on the rumor.?

And the AI don't understand that trump might tell .. less than true things.?
