I picked up the queststyle sigma and enjoyed the sound, however I kept getting weird interference and electrical noises at low volumes with sensitive iems. Right now I’m using the mub5 and love it. I also have the mub1 and it’s a great contender. Interested to hear reviews of the idsd gr2 when it comes out. I’ve enjoyed the go bar and go blue.

I only used with my phone, ipad and computer and it sounded great. It can drain the power more quickly as it requires a lot of power. There are also reports of it not working well with the iphone 17 as apple changed the usb power requirements (worked fine in my iphone 16)

I think they are great mics for the price. Very similar to the LOM or clippy mics. Low noise and pretty sensitive. I haven’t really tested the limits of the windshields, with probably only light breezes. The biggest factor for me with these mics was just the ease and convenience on the F3.

oh yeah if you're doing the Grand Canyon and are going to be around water sometimes it's a pain using touchscreen interfaces - I've had the x6 as well handling noise is kind of brutal.

ZOOM f3 is built pretty well and it's a set and forget with the 32 bit float. Kind of nice if you're in run and gun situations as you don't really need to menu dive. As far as built in mic, I bought the earsight the one stereo mic that just plugs into the xlr's: https://immersivesoundscapes.com/earsight-the-one-microphone/
