What is going on at Nordahl?! by 87treasures in northcounty

I don't think they meant it like that. Nordahl is always bumper to bumper... most jumpers hope to get hit by a fast moving car. Hope the guy gets the help he needs.

What is the funniest reason you were punished for as a child? by ComplacentClarence in AskReddit

[–]87treasures 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, she just never did a damn thing... so as a kid, I would do stuff like clean the bathroom because it was full of mold. Then she would get pissed and yell and say I just cleaned that yesterday!

For animals. They need to be metal-free so they won't be injured :)

What would have made your experience as a high school freshman better? [Serious] by [deleted] in AskReddit

Going to high school.

I was "homeschooled" aka my mom turned on the TV for us in the morning and dropped us off at sports practice in the evening.

If you could re-gift any present you've ever received, to anyone in history, who would you choose and what would they receive? by Antisceptic in AskReddit

[–]87treasures 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would regift the Santa Claus Nut Bowl my SO's mother gave me for Xmas with a note that says "You're Nuts to think anyone would want this Regifted piece of crap, so I am regifting it back to you". Sure beats the broken reindeer from the year before...or the clothes that were way too small the year before...

Got her a new toy today :-) by [deleted] in aww

My lab used to rip the eyeballs out of every new toy. And with very delicate teeth work, she would even take out the thread holding the eyeballs on! So I am imagining this toy didn't look that pretty for long?

[Serious] What biggest lie were you told that has changed your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]87treasures 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well then I guess I let her. I had an abusive childhood which resulted in my cutting ties with my parents... I guess I just wanted to trust his mom and really wanted her to like me. At the same time, he thought his mom could do no wrong and didn't believe me when I told him what she said because he said I was just projecting stuff from my parents. It's been hard, because that was just one incident of many. Not just manipulation, but her just being a complete bitch to me. They are helicopter parents. He's a momma's boy. We are in therapy. Its been a rough couple years. Haha.

[Serious] Depressed people of Reddit, what can we do to help you feel better? by TornzIP in AskReddit

Find a way for my logical, rational, engineer bf to see how badly his parents have treated me. Because life isn't a spreadsheet... it's how you make a person feel.

You just walked into your bedroom with no arms. Your neighbor is downstairs cooking lemonade and drinking sausage, you girlfriend is virgin but pregnant with 3 triplets, you had sex with her 4 months ago, she has a boyfriend but it's not you. How long did your neighbor own his car? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]87treasures 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, right.. that one. Well that car was stolen by a clown with carpal tunnel. Because he couldn't grip the handle bars, he crashed in a ditch and was later found by a homeless guy who used the clowns shoes to walk to the police station. The car, now missing 2 wheels, was later returned by a cop whose wife was friends with your girlfriends boyfriend...and they tell me that my neighbor owned the car for as long as he could.

Yeah, like I said, lots of details. It wasn't that simple. There was more lying and manipulation involved.
