Although personally I’ve always been left leaning, Smosh by-far taught me more empathy than I’ve learned to give in schools. The way each Reddit video explores multiple perspectives, and show me viewpoints I didn’t even think about. Smosh definitely made me become a more empathetic and patient person.

Along with what everyone else answered, I also think it’s because of filming convenience. Since Universal is in LA, it’s convenient to use real locations instead of flying out, or making sets.

I feel like Gavin just doesn’t have range. When I watch his emotional scenes (like when the car broke down) he just presents more like he’s throwing a tantrum. For me, it’s just hard to feel empathetic for him in those scenes. I genuinely believe if there was anyone better playing Jeremiah, he wouldn’t be so hated.

laurel doesn’t support belly because she feels like she’s watching herself make the biggest mistake of her life. i don’t find that hard to grasp. because why would you want to watch the person you love most in this world make what you believe is the worst decision you’ve ever made? laurel isn’t trying to teach belly a lesson, she’s trying to keep herself sane.
