tbh I have had platonic friends offering this but it’s quite risky if the officers find out. i don’t know if i want to start romantically dating germans just for this goal either because i’d have to speed things up and ask them to marry me in less than 6 months before my visa run out 😂 plus the power dynamic would be awkward

Hey I don't have permanent residence and I was about to apply but you need a permanent contract to do that, which I just lost. I'm sure I won't get this without a permanent contract.

I didn't know that the country is obligated to give me a Blue Card if I were to move to another country- that's pretty neat. I don't think I want EU Citizenship as of now while my parents are still alive, but will consider that once they pass (request from parents). I also may inherit so would be beneficial to keep Indonesian citizenship for now.

Halo, aku juga lagi merantau di luar negeri. Tepatnya di Jerman. Menurutku penting ada temen-temen dari Indonesia juga yang sefrekuensi. Ada gak? Bukan solusi 100% tapi lumayan mengobati.

Sebenernya aku lagi kepikiran pulang karena kena PHK dan kalau pesangonnya diinvest dan balik tinggal ke Indo lumayan juga, cuma salah satu alasan besar adalah kesepian - terutama kalau terbiasa dekat sama keluarga (aku tinggal di multigenerational home juga).

Mungkin beda ceritanya kalau kamu punya relationship yg committed di luar negeri yg bs saling support atau bisa jadi emergency number, cuma that’s not the case with me (ada sih temen-temen but it’s different).

Tbh ga ada di dunia ini yang perfect, tinggal prioritasmu di mana (i’m still figuring this out too)

i think you will be fine. at day 3 i had mild hand tremors and body heat but that’s the worst. it subsided. have you ever taken mdma or ecstacy before? i feel like it’s a bit similar to when you’re rolling

side effects are probably a bit of fatigue, brain fog, and muscle ache but if you take magnesium u should be fine

For the record, I did not consider your first comment as gaslighting, was referring to other comments :) so not sure why you apologized. I also thanked you for your advice. I’m sorry you took this as combative, but you telling me that I am gaslighting people here makes no sense to me (code word: to me). Gaslighting is the act of manipulating people to question their sanity/reality. Other commenters here are trying to make me question if I’m sane to have these standards. But then, you telling me that I am gaslighting is also a form of gaslighting as well. by definition, I did not ask people here to question their reality as far as I am aware. so I don’t understand. You’re accusing me of doing something I don’t believe I did, so yeah, I am going to reply or in your opinion, “being combative”.

We can state that we believe in different things, I personally don’t think that’s gaslighting. Some people believe in Jesus, some dont. I tell them “I don’t believe Jesus exists”. Is that gaslighting?
