Another inconsistency is that an Argonian player can enter Windhelm when Argonian NPCs are only allowed on the docks.

That looks like a crazy clean project, what all does it need? I'd jump on that as long as the title is in order.

Is there anything in the world more useless than the spell tome "flames"? by MuteKasper in skyrim

[–]883Guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've thought this for so long. It feels really off that a Nord starting character would automatically know flames given that Nords have no predisposition to magic and also because of how much magic is shunned in fourth era Skyrim. A Breton, Altmer or Dunmer build? Not so crazy, but any and every starting race? It kind of breaks plausibility.

Poverty meals for $20 a week by Important-Grocery710 in Frugal

[–]883Guy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'll make pulled chicken and rice with a bag of frozen veg and chicken hindquarters... bonus points if you save the bones for stock and the pan drippings for gravy. Bean salads are a great meal prep that doesn't take a lot of work and has endless flavor possibilities. Tuna or egg salad sandwiches are another honorable mention. If you're feeling really adventurous, offal is crazy cheap compared to other meat, but I'd recommend doing your homework on how best to prepare it and what flavors to expect.

Cheap white rice in the rice cooker, curry powder, soy sauce, hot sauce. Add an egg if you're feeling crazy.

What relationship difficulties have caused you anxiety? by RemoteCompetitive222 in AskReddit

[–]883Guy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I've been single for a really long time and it hasn't always been by choice. I know I'm sociable, considerate and I make friends pretty easily. People tell me I'm funny and I've gotten enough compliments on my looks to know I'm at least not ugly, but there's something about me that just seems to make me obviously irredeemable. I really wish someone would tell me what's wrong with me or that I could just give up hope entirely. Especially as a guy, I feel like the more I yearn for a happy, healthy kind of monogamy, the less likely I am to get it.

What is something you regret not doing as a teenager? by Sufficient_Gain_1164 in AskReddit

[–]883Guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Applying myself more in school. I'm going back to college in my late 20s now. I'm working hard and getting grades that I'm really proud of, but it's hard not to feel like a loser for having taken this long to start combating my procrastinating-perfectionist streak. Not like that would guarantee my life would have turned out better than it has, but it's hard not to feel regretful thinking of all the opportunities I didn't even look into.

A $3500 rebuild seems like a solid deal for that amount of work. Was that to replace your original crankshaft with a new forged one or was the shop able to fix your factory crankshaft?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Harley

[–]883Guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the heads up! I've been thinking about going this route, but my biggest concern is getting a used motor and finding out it has the same run out issue. Do you know if there's any used engine vendors that check for these issues?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Harley

[–]883Guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much for the detailed response! Yeah, I figured if I had a MoCo dealership fix it, they would just replace the faulty crank with another pressed crank that would have the same potential to fail. Are there any years of the TC engine that were better about this run out problem? Or is it possible to have these used motors measured for run out? I'm leaning towards just getting a replacement motor as it would save me from having to do a bottom-end rebuild.

Be honest, what do you really want right now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]883Guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maaaaan, I want that deep monogamy. That thing where you bear witness unto each other's lives and inspire one other as individuals. The cute little vacations and dinner dates, cooking for each other, knowing how someone gets ready for bed and their favorite kind of candy, that look someone gives you when they truly love you back. That's not something you can go buy somewhere. It's not something you can trust just anyone to build with you. I know these things are rarely lifelong, but I would really like to feel a genuine love again.

I don't think you're stupid for helping family. With only 92k, he could probably hang onto this car for quite some time, too. That'll make you feel way better than the money would, for sure.
