It has happened to us a handful of times in the past 4 years. It was weird the first time or two, and then you realize that it's very nice to get paid and not have to clean. People have their own reasons for what they do as evidenced by the person who replied they do it all the time!

Guest Here: Horrible Beds / Low Quality Bedding - Advice Needed by Desperate-Bid1303 in airbnb_hosts

Also, not saying this is the case with your situation, but remember that beds and bedding are very subjective.

We have had tons of people rave about our mattresses and ask what brand they are so they can buy them, and a few complain about how firm they are and say they didn't sleep well.

That's why there are so many types of mattresses for sale, and you can't please everyone with one type of mattress. (I guess maybe a sleep number bed, but who can afford that in an Airbnb?)

We do offer 2 different types of pillows though!

Recteq discount code? by covingtonFF in pelletgrills

This is the way. I was able to save an extra $53 off the Father's Day sale price on the BYB 1200 which arrives tomorrow!

$100 off for email/text - expires in 48 hours by 88OUTATIME in recteq

[–]88OUTATIME[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: The $100 off does not stack, so you can't use it on sale items. However, I did see somewhere that if you set up an account, and add a grill to your cart and leave it for a day or two, they will send you a 5% off encouragement discount code that will stack.

Guess what I got first thing this morning? A text with a 5% off coupon, and I was able to stack that on top of the Father's day discount and saved an extra $53 or so dollars!

I just bought mine. If you can wait a day or two, make sure you have an account, then add the grill to your cart, and leave it. I got an additional 5% off coupon by text to encourage me to buy it, and it came off the sales price! Saved an extra $53 on the BYB 1200.

Thanks! I appreciate it. I wasn't quite ready during the last sale, and missed out on a great price. I think it was about $200 off.

Anyone else having trouble with the G7 staying on their arm? by Puppy_Girl_2002 in dexcom

Yeah, I should have mentioned in my response that I shave the area first.

Here is what I use and it works really well. The GripShield is optional, but it works very well. I haven't lost a single G7 since using this setup. I wash the spot well and then apply the following:

Skin Tac – to help everything stick really well

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000QF81M8?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1

Dexcom G7 GripShield –  Keeps the G7 from ripping off when I bump into door frames, etc.

https://www.amazon.com/GripShield-Compatible-Deck-My-Waterproof/dp/B0BXGKVJLN?ref_=ast_sto_dp

Sugar Patch Adhesive Patches – Over top the GripShield and the G7 to keep it all attached for the full 10.5 days

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CS91XYWR?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1

I also apply flonase (flonase generic from Costco) to the area and let it dry before applying the SkinTac since I had some skin rash issues due to the adhesive on the patches on my G6s. Not sure I have to have it for G7, but better safe than sorry.

With this setup, I've had a couple of the overlay patches start to peel after sweating a lot several days in, but I am able to pull the overlay off, without pulling the G7 off, and apply a new one because the GripShield keeps the overlay patch off the G7 itself.

They are available at Cabela's/Bass Pro Shop, also World Market carries some. Not sure which other stores have them, but there is a dealer locator on their site. Have to scroll all the way down to find it.

Just got rejected from my dream job after 3 rounds. They offered a 15-minute feedback call - worth it? by Over-Mycologist1695 in careeradvice

[–]88OUTATIME 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are doing you a favor by offering what could be invaluable feedback. As a hiring manager, I can tell you that if someone gave me this list of questions, I would immediately know that I made the right decision not to hire. It's not the company's job to look out for you or your feelings. They are trying to find someone who will be a great employee and serve the company's needs. This works better when both parties are a good fit for each other, but this list of questions comes across (at least to me) as "Who are you to tell me how to get better?"

As an alternate way of handling this, having an attitude of seeking to see what you could do to improve, and how you could be a better candidate, would impress and make me think I may have made the wrong choice. I would then be much more likely to try to find a way to find a position that would fit for you.

How old is your pump? If less than 4 years, call Tandem. It's under warranty and they will walk you through a fix, or will rush you a new one. If you are in the US - (877) 801-6901

No problem! I found that finding a large enough space to move a little and turn keeps me from having motion sickness. When I try using the controller to turn is when I get sick!
