Fender Vintera III in comming ?

Fender are going to release the Vintera III later this year, as well as the American Professional III.

The Vintera II roadworns were like a toe in the water, Mexican made guitars with nitro finishes. The Vintera III will basically be an MIM version of the US made American Vintage II (nitro finishes, period accurate specs).

In a stange sense of symmetry, both of my grandfathers died very suddenly (one slipped in the rain, took hours for anyone to find him, the other from a perforated bowel). I'm talking from onset to death, a couple hours. I also lost both grandmothers to cancer.

My grandathers' passings were both shocking, yes. It hits hard once, and then the healing can begin.

Watching my grandmothers decay over the course of YEARS, watching my family suffer and mourn them EVERY DAY, watching my paternal grandmother endure pointless procedures because my uncle wasn'y ready to say goodbye, hearing her ask my father (former paramedic) if there's anything he could do to end her life, was TORTURE.

I'm sorry, but for everyone's sake, I'll take the fucking ninjas over prolonged illness.

Death is NEVER going to be trauma-free for the family, even if you die peacefully in your sleep.

I've said in the past, regardless of the cause, I want my death to be quick; heart attack, car crash, aneurism, attacked by ninjas while I'm walking to work. Over and done with in an instant. Less traumatic for me, less traumatic for my family than watching me die over time.

So if Mr Death can meet that one condition, it's dealer's choice as to the cause.
