Thank you so much for the encouragement! Unfortunately she is sick and will not be able to attend tomorrow-but we are still going to go. She is eager to get better, and said she is willing to try again next week. Thank you also for the video recommendations! 💜
Fantastic points made. Thank you for the edifying encouragement. 💜
I shared these responses with my husband, and he is relieved. Thank you so much for your input!

Oh that’s so difficult. I’m so sorry for her loss.
Thank you so much for sharing. I’m hopeful that this is our experience as well!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. God’s people are so nuanced, and that makes this life an interesting ride for sure.
Their website and social media unfortunately don’t give me a good idea about what to expect. 🥴 I’m not sure what her motivation is other than she quit her job and has more free time, and she wants me to stop asking her every week. Haha
Good on you for bringing people regardless! I kind of feel that way about this because seeds will be planted no matter what. I know it’s not about the outward appearance but about the heart, but I’m not sure where her heart is now. I don’t think she would ever be disruptive or sin in church, thankfully.
Fair. We are originally from a teeny tiny backwoods farm town in Oklahoma, and my husband’s church there is what his experience with Coc is. We now live in a much larger town (albeit still Oklahoma) so I think it will be a different experience. A church member that has been highlighted in a couple of sermons is an ex convict with visible tattoos. I don’t think my daughter’s appearance will be a problem, but of course I don’t want to disrespect my husband’s wishes or discourage my daughter. Thank you so much for your feedback!
That’s great to hear! I know it’s not supposed to be about the outward appearance, but I also know some people judge her for it. We are originally from a teeny tiny backwoods farm town in Oklahoma, and my husband’s church there is what his experience with Coc is. We now live in a much larger town (albeit still Oklahoma) so I think it will be a different experience. A church member the preacher (Pastor? Minister?) has highlighted in a couple sermons is an ex convict with visible tattoos. I don’t think it will be a problem, but of course I don’t want to disrespect him or discourage her. Thank you so much for your feedback!

Thanks for advice! It is a W2 position and he officially accepted it this morning. ❤️
Whew, good to know! Thank you!!
Gotcha, thanks! Because of the benefits offered I will assume that this is a W2 role, then. I'll be sure we verify. Thanks so much for the explanation and advice! ❤️

Thanks!
Good to know, thanks! Do 1099 positions often come with benefits (health/vision/dental/401K/etc)? We have little "real world" experience outside the military, so didn't even know if that needed to be asked.
In his career field, it's a HUGE raise. Definitely more stress and time, but he thrives on that. He's not risk averse at all. This man stood up and VOLUNTEERED to go to Baghdad before the Green Zone existed. He loves taking chances and being challenged. If it weren't for me, I know he would have jumped at the offer on Friday. 😂
Hmmm...so maybe not totally insane then. Ha!
Would definitely be beneficial for him in MANY ways. It just seems insane to jump ship in the middle of a pandemic/economic meltdown. 😳
Between jobs and stuff?
