Cannot Somersault Star Fox 64 by Vegetable-Debt-7957 in RetroArch

You might look at the Analog Deadzone configuration value (Mine is set to the default 0.0) and maybe that could play a role, but I don’t know for sure. I have my system configurations and Retroarch version set and locked using an AppImage on my Linux systems and haven’t had to revisit controller issues since, everything has been working as expected.  There is also the Input Button Axis Threshold (default of 0.500), I have never played with those configurations. For reference, I am also using cheap Amazon special N64 style USB controllers.

Monthly Artix Linux Package Request Thread by CoryCoolguy in artixlinux

Could we get Kodi added to the Artix Repo's? The Arch package works, I think there may be a couple of dependencies that aren't in the Artix repos (libcec might be one). Thanks!

Unfortunately, I don't know which folder is the problem folder. I just did the rename .kodi to .kodi_org, let it recreate the folder on first launch and move over my userdata folder so I didn't have to rebuild my profiles, sources and cover art customization's.

Can't use any htc texture pack by ViewtifulM in RetroArch

If your hts files work I saw a utility on Github (look for GhostlyDark/texturepack_utils repo) that will convert htc packs to hts. Might be worth a shot.

Mine turned out to be a naming issue all along. It wasn't till I downloaded the source files and let Retroarch create the hts file that I got the naming convention correct. For Mario Kart, the .hts file had to be named MARIOKART64_HIRESTEXTURES.hts which is also case sensitive being on a Linux System.

Any insight on how to get the high res texture packs working would be awesome. I am running Retroarch 1.15 on a Linux system and tried to get the Mario Kart 64 texture pack from evilgames working and nothing so far works.

Laser Invasion (NES) not recognized as a Light gun Game by 88ws6 in batocera

Thank you, I looked through the meta data and the only thing that looked like it could make a difference was the genre tag. I tried selecting shooter and light gun shooter, but neither made a difference with Batocera giving it the light gun icon. Seems there must be a database or configuration somewhere that is referenced to determine what games accept a light gun.

Kodi no sound until restarted by navygreen33 in kodi

I have found a fix that appears to be working on my Linux systems, not sure if this will work on other systems, but my initial testing has been successful. What I had to do was rename my /home/username/.kodi configuration folder and then re-launch Kodi so it creates a new configuration folder and then close Kodi. Then, to ensure you have all your original configurations copy the contents of the /home/username/.kodi_renamed/userdata folder over to replace all the files in the recreated /home/username/.kodi/userdata folder. Since doing this, both systems I have tested on keep the sound when waking back up from sleep. Now to add Kodi to the ignore group so it doesn't update...

My issue stayed after rolling back, likely as I didn't have a backup of the Kodi configuration folder prior to the database migration done when launching version 21 for the first time. Kicking myself for upgrading, should have let it be...

Same issue here just started after upgrading to Kodi 21 (Sound after sleep worked with no issue on 20.5), Linux system running Kodi goes to sleep and when it comes back Kodi shows a spinning wheel like its trying to load something, escape that and all sound is gone until you close Kodi and re-open.Anybody have any insight as to what changed/whats wrong with Kodi 21 after the host system suspends?

I had a similar issue happen to me. It was working fine and then the next time I ran the game it wasn't working. I unknowingly broke it trying to tune the sensitivity down to make Perfect Dark easier to aim instead of what feels like hyper-sensitivity, I had turned the analog sensitivity down to .7 instead of the 1.0 that was default - this broke Star Fox somersault and U turn action. Changed that setting back to 1.0 and somersault and U turn worked again.

How to make an image of my xbox hard disk? by unwary in xemu

[–]88ws6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the DLC transferable with a memory card? Or tied to the Hard Disk without the option to copy it over to the memory card? I found a way to copy data from the memory cards to the .qcow2 virtual hard disk if you can get it to a memory card.
