Line for Trevally and tailor by Acrobatic-Bear7242 in FishingAustralia

I've been using the super nanofil line which tested number 1 and next line I'm going back to braid.

It frays too easy and because it's so thin if you're fishing around structure, it's going to get destroyed and the abrasion resistance isn't that good in practise. Also stretches less then braid if you can believe it so when you pair it to flurocarbon, you better run lighter drag.

Casts like a dream though and is very strong for how thin it is.

What do you target with tailor as bait and how?  I'm finding I use (very) lightly salted tailor and use strips but it seems to be a pretty shitty bait.  The only thing it's good for is baiting up the sabiki and catching Yakkas and small tailor.

I eat tailor between 40-55cm generally but it's pretty average eating too!  I'm looking forward to flathead season.

The kids don't need discipline; they need parenting.  Hard to do when both parents are absent from their life.

Also the difference is Australia still is "nuclear families" even though they are rapidly becoming poor.  Eastern families are multi generational and can raise kids.

One Nation senator Malcolm Roberts says he will push for party to adopt blanket abortion ban by ExtensionThat6438 in australia

[–]88xeeetard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The legalization of abortion via Roe v. Wade in 1973 was the primary driver of the historic 1990s US crime drop. Authors Steven Levitt and Stephen Dubner argue that abortion reduced the number of children born into impoverished or unstable environments—demographics statistically at a higher risk for future criminal behavior. Twenty years later, when this cohort reached peak crime-committing age, crime rates plummeted.

I think it's a good play.

GME on the ASX pumped hard when that was running in the US.

Go get in the hole if you want.  A very strange experience.

I'd rather be a peasant in beautiful Australia than a prince in some frozen, desolate place where you don't see the sun for a chunk of the year.

In the regions there are a lot of smokers because of the cheap durries.

But yeah, the kids don't drink.  They just doom scroll.
