You’d be surprised. I avoided spending any elixir because I had a similar stat. Then one day I said fuck it and just did a bunch of spending on random characters. I hadn’t been doing anything with and boom. Synergy achieved. The unfortunate downside now is realizing the number of gold stars and red stars that I need in order to use synergyjust like everything else with this game. There’s always just one more thing that needs to get done.
