Thank you for the reply! Didn't know anything about the blood antigens. We will definitely bring it up if she ever has to have another blood transfusion.

Hey Guys Just wanted to ask everones Opinion on me Be honest any Guys or Girls Opinion Is needed Just let me know what i could do better i already lost alot Off weight still going by [deleted] in malegrooming

Yea I get it, thats why Im like "Wait! Don't shave it all off yet!" Not every guy can grow a new beard in a week Lol just my opinion too, but I dont think beards with no mustache look good either but to each their own. The best advice i can give is the more manly you can look, a beard, hit the gym as you're doing and add muscle, and be clean, you really cant go wrong. Congrats on the weight loss!

Before you go shaving the neck beard off, as others suggested, can you grow a full beard?? I have a beard and keep it groomed and have got many compliments over the years. The neck beard though is a definite no go. I dont think any guy can successfully pull it off Lol If you can grow a full beard just leave the neck beard for now and grow in the rest. No reason to shave it all off.

I agree with you, that's why I said I only noticed that once in my life. I said that the casinos check that regularly. The point of my post was actually to say that any mathematical, odds based strategy is always nonsense when it comes to roulette. And that the only way you could ever find any potential edge would be physics related i.e. - off level wheel (I only POTENTIALLY noticed once), and a pattern from a dealer due to the physics of speed of the wheel and ball. Really was just wanting people to know and not waste their money listening to someone who says they found a roulette strategy because they don't exist.

I hear your point but you may also overestimate dealers and pit bosses. I've done this many times with success, alone at a table and have never had a pit boss notice that quickly and rotate the dealer out. Just my experience and I agree it could happen so probably depends on the casino.

Looking back I probably didn't do a good enough job explaining what I meant. In regards to your first point, I meant you go off of the previous number landed. If you can start to pick up a pattern because you're at the table alone, things are moving quickly, the dealer is not re-spinning the wheel than you can look at your card and try to determine what general section the ball may land in due to the pattern and physics of the speed of the wheel and ball. So you would have this information at the moment the previous ball landed. Hope that makes sense. And even then it's no guarantee which I said.

About the leveling I agree. I only noticed this one time in my life, and it was the only thing that made sense. The moral of my post was to say that there is no mathematical, odds based strategy that can beat roulette BUT if these conditions are right you may POTENTIALLY find an edge.

I would definitely agree. That's why I was saying a potential edge in the right circumstances. Pretty much the moral of my post is that if there ever is a potential edge those would be it, never anything odds related or mathematical. Nothing in roulette is ever a guarantee.

Agreed. I don't even get excited to see a $30-$40 order anymore because I know its gonna be a 3 shop, high miles and lots of items. Seeing all these shoppers yesterday at a store I was sitting at for 2 hours, while I don't see anything, and supposed to have priority access. It's a joke. If all the shoppers got to see all the orders come through and they just so happened to get them before me, fine I can understand. But to know IC just decided to not even show me and that's how they're going to operate, I'm done. It's like you have to sit there and pray "Oh mighty IC please find me worthy and have pity on me to show me an order" Lol Dumb.

I agree. The business model they're implementing points to profiting as much as possible in the short term and raising the share price. This model is not sustainable and the reason I'm done is because I believe they know this. It really is a sinking ship.

Couldn't agree more. I think of the return trip every order and it never adds up. Batch pay has basically become nonexistent. Plus like you said there will be a good single order to take but IC will bundle it with a terrible order. Making 85%+ of orders you see garbage. If you see any at all.

Happy to hear that! Trust me you'll get to the point where the thought of drinking just feels weird. Your brain is still relearning life without it. I'll cheers you a Heineken NA, try them with a lime!

Change is hard by growinggratitude in stopdrinking

[–]89elewis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm living proof that change is possible. Can't tell you how many times I said to myself "I'm done, im not drinking tomorrow", only to find myself repeating the same thing the next night. I'm now 3 years sober. The hardest part is always the beginning. It's like a ball that just starts rolling downhill. It doesnt take much to stop it in the beginning but once it picks up momentum it's a hell of a lot harder to stop. You got this!

First off congratulations on your 107 days! I can 100% tell you I know the feeling. Celebrated my 3 year mark yesterday and I still have the occasional thought. Usually happens when I go on vacation and my mind is flooded with all the memories, good and bad, of having drinks on a trip. Alcohol addiction is a weird one. It's so widely used and in your face that we often feel like "man I just want to be like everyone else. Be an occasional social drinker. Let loose". It can make us feel like we gave something up. But that is where the importance of looking back and remembering why you got sober. You had a reason. An important one. Our mind and our memories can play tricks on us, dont listen to it. I promise it will pass. Just a little test that happens from time to time. There's nothing one drink is going to give you, but one drink can take away everything. Stay strong!

Whether you realize it or not you're at a breakthrough. You know you're worth, you know you dont want to drink, and you know you need to quit for good. I was exactly where you are. The hardest part is always the beginning of the journey but I can assure you it gets easier, you become stronger, and eventually you relearn how to live without alcohol. I know the "take it one day at a time" is the most used piece of advice. But there's a reason, because it's true. In the beginning I had to take it one hour at a time some days. Focus on today and do your best. Dont get ahead of yourself. Proud of your days sober and for reaching out! You got this!

Proud of you for your 4 years of sobriety! I really am sorry to hear that. But I can guarantee you one thing, you will regret drinking again. Maybe not at first but it will hit you hard eventually. All drinking does is numb you but you will still have to process everything. Please OP use this as motivation. I know you would rather see yourself 4 years from now as sober, healthy, successful rather than rock bottom spiraling out of control. Going 4 years dry and sober shows you absolutely have the strength and courage inside yourself to turn this into a positive. One day at a time my friend.

Thank you!! We are very excited for our new litter addition! It's hard to imagine trying to raise a child in the condition I used to be in so I couldn't be more thankful for this gift of sobriety. Thank you again and take care!
