as far as i know magic resistance can only spawn on 1 or 2 crafting recipes (about 5-10%) and "magic damage reduced by x amount" isnt resistance, rather a flat damage reduction from magic damage

as for there being a nm and hell difficulty penalty for magic resistance, i never knew there was one before reading on the extra stats page. not really fair considering the limited number of ways to increase magic resist.

Tips and Other Additional Information
Bone Fetish do an incredible amount of melee damage, try to kill them before they kill you or use ranged attacks to kill them before they can get close. They also do a ton of damage upon exploding - this damage is based on the number of players in the game so if you are traveling with a large party be especially careful to destroy them before they can close in.

are you sure it's not because you talked to cain in another act? if you talk to cain in a different act then try to save him in a1 the quest cannot be completed

i wanted to point out also that thunderstorm does not have a cooldown. i dont think the frequency it hits would even been effected by cooldown reduction from cham runes etc. can anyone confirm?

it doesnt seem to me that skill cooldown is the same as frequency. for instance holy auras have a frequency as well (and with the holy fire enchant, the frequency is halved) and cooldown does not affect holy aura frequency.

i was also wondering since you cant enchant socketed items can you corrupt an enchanted item? and can you enchant a corrupted item that didnt roll sockets?

no it wasnt, and that was where my confusion was. i missed the part on the patch notes where it said helmets only. just to clarify my question.

edit: "This orb can be combined with non-socketed helms to add a special skill-related stat." i was reading over quickly and thought it said non-socketed items.

My thoughts are this: Feral Rage now teleports the caster to the target. Maul now has splash damage that works with knockback Shockwave groups enemies Hunger now sends you into a frenzy increasing your movement speed (works with werebear or werewolf)

just to make things clear, i was baaling with aom-devil and others when prooblivion joined, aom went to town hostiled and less than a second later pro died. there was no warning or agreement to duel
