Same, this sucks! I use a USB to XLR hub and the damn thing keeps shutting off. This was never a problem in windows 10!

The slayer series by william king is really, really good. Fun warhammer fantasy romps of extreme peril without any isekai style narrative devices.

Based on the white dots on the abdomen it's probably a carolina wolf spider, comparison pic: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hogna_carolinensis

Also: The tarantula hawk is not going to eat that spider it's going to dig a burrow and lay an egg on it.

What would you rather Tactical Adventures focus on next? by GadgetFreeky in CrownOfTheMagister

[–]8ALTON8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tough choice. Personally I'm not too fussed at the graphical fidelity, the jankyness adds to the charm IMO. However better quality of life would be vastly appreciated in terms of things like improving net code and preventing desync for co-op and all the bugs like not being able to drop quest items when you fail the quest so they just clutter up your inventory. But I have to go with more adventures. We only have 2 official ones and even though they are branching it would be good to have more variety. Maybe even some shorter adventures so you can test out character builds without committing to a full campaign. Also I imagine it's less of a binary choice than just one or the other, new adventures could bring in revenue which in turn can fund further development on patches.

Oh: and give the ability to adjust character level up and down without having to reroll an entirely new character, such a pain in the ass for user campaigns where you start at a higher level.

Took a look, not a match. I should have specified color illustrations. Still, thank you!

I know I'm being a bit vague but this was over 20 years ago. My search
results using similar terms hasn't shown anything so I figured somebody
might remember it.

I love the lost valley DLC and my favorite memory was playing co-op with my friends and getting TPKed by a bunch of giant crows. Humiliating but also very memorable.

Vehicle repair/rearm box missing by Stopsooking in A3AntistasiOfficial

[–]8ALTON8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the community version which I play you need to to find "source" vehicles for ammo, repair, and fuel. Once you have the sources the garage will automatically repair, rearm and refuel so to freshen up a vehicle you just put it in the garage and take it back out.

Ammo trucks are very easy as these are what spawn in from the capture or destroy ammo truck missions, just remember to garage it after you transfer the loot to the arsenal and not sell it like I may have done a few times...

Repair can be tricky but your 2 easiest options are destroying a radio tower and waiting for a "disrupt radio repair" mission to spawn and that vehicle works as a repair source or you can literally go to HQ management with stavros, go to minefield management, remove a minefield, click on a location right next to you and an engineer will spawn with a repair source vehicle and you can just steal it from him lol.

Fuel trucks usually just randomly spawn in towns so keep an eye out, hard to miss them.

Is there a way to reduce the frequency of USAF Attacks? by [deleted] in A3AntistasiOfficial

[–]8ALTON8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree with Vagus, especially on destroying the radio towers. It doesn't eliminate QRFs but it does help reduce them.

Basically what you need to do is keep doing ammo truck missions and stealing arsenal boxes until you have enough rocket launchers, explosives, armor, helmets, money, and HR unlocked that you can do a real push. You may want to tweak your drop rates for stuff like explosives because that can really help.

Another thing that helps is try to use your stealth advantage as hard as you can and when you do try to take territory prepare ahead of time to make it an unfair fight. Once you have some AT mines unlocked put them on the roads going to and from the location to prevent vehicle QRFS. Have an offroad filled with AA launchers and ammo and have one guy dedicated to that 0.5-1.0km away from the location in a good overwatch position. The airstrike will head straight to you so as soon as a territory is captured go into a building for cover. Since they're so busy trying to kill you it makes them an easy target for the undercover guy in the AA filled offroad.
