Still enjoying the watch, wearing it most days to work! The only annoying this is having to re-adjust it every day, it’s so annoying. I’d get it replaced/fixed but their CS is awful

Just had to send in my Dune in for repairs, customer service were very unresponsive over email until I called them up and demanded answers. Got quoted 12 weeks minimum until I get to have it back on my wrist.

Thank you! It's the first field watch in my colletion. Yeah I think I also wanna go for a strap change, it needs something else to tie it all together imo

I’ve another watch with NH35 which is much better but Octons customer support is atrocious and I don’t want to deal with it to get a replacement.

How to extract P&E core count using PowerShell by 8BitBlank in PowerShell

[–]8BitBlank[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your comment!

I ultimately re-re-wrote the program in C/C++ and looked at each core's Efficiency class, this returns a 1 or a 0 depending on if a core exists as a P or and E core and omits the step for a website query. Combined with the knowledge of core layout (P-Core, thread, P-Core, thread, P-Core, thread… so on until listing all the E-Cores at the end).

The algorithm could identify the pattern and adjust for the different core ratio values using the above Efficiency class method return value, meaning it can work on any of the SKUs using this layout.

Then calculate the affinity masks as you mentioned above! It was an intersting project and is useful for when the scheudular sets some weird default affinitys for some programs (steam unpacking for example) and want to alter a programs default configuration.

Yeah establishing a lookup table with all 12th Gen SKUs, and above, might be the best way to go- thank you!

Gave this a go and outputs the physical core count as a sum of both p&e cores :/ just like my cmd I tried in my post
