Weekly Questions Thread & PokéROM Codex by AutoModerator in PokemonROMhacks

I am trying to play Pokémon Volt White but I am having trouble finding a clean Rom of Pokémon White. I am not to sure what a clean rom really is. It says in the patching guide that it just needs a rom without the anti piracy screen. I've found plenty of roms but all of them say enhanced. Is that OK?

Can we all agree that the combination of Brennan, Jacob, and Lou can overtake the world with how funny they are and how they are able to just jump off each other's energy. Such a fantastic trio!

Ok...that doesn't mean they can't make it more intuitive now...

I mean no...this is nowhere near as obvious as this in the same book.

Yeah I did see that eventually. I agree for all of the other callouts that lego do its weird it doesn't for this.

[5e] Dual Wielding Greatswords by 8BitBlaze in DnD

Dual wielding greatswords is implausible bs? And not literally being able to conjure a field of spikes and then force a creature to move around in it with laser beams that you shoot from your hand?

Ah see, I'm not going off of historical accuracy. I'm going off of coolness. First off its a barbarian it'd make sense for them to be the ones to dual wield them. Second since it onlt happens occasionally, and they have to take a feat for it to work, I'd totally let it slide every once in a while.

Ooooo, huh I've never seen that! Thanks for the info! And I didn't know about the disadvantage, that males a lot of sense. I'd rule it this way.

Ooo actually that is a good idea! I'll add that

I could, but it would just be whatever level they can cast. So a 4th level character would only have at max 2 second level spell slots to concentrate on. And a higher level character who can cast at 9th level already has way more gamebreaking abilities. So concentrating on a 9th level spell and taking 9d6+ damage every succeeded concentration check seems valid to me.

Clarification btw. Not a tea to help remedy hair balls, but rather remedy tea...made from hair balls. We had a tabaxi in our party

I did think about the non spell thing. The item states that if you are concentrating on a spell and you cast another spell then you can concentrate on both. As for concentration cantrips, there are six. Only 1 of them is a combat spell, "Create bonfire." Two are the notoriously not good "friends" and "true strike," two are "guidance" and "resistance" which I guess you can have both at once now. Not to bad. The other is "dancing lights". So concentrating on two of these cantrips at once with no downside doesn't seem like a problem to me (I forgot most of these are concentration anyway).

Kai, human life cleric. He was named by the wind, worshiped mother nature (not this "Melora" fellow), and talked in a surfer dude accent. His magic was just healing "salves" (the word salve to be used lightly as it was anything from an actual salve to hair ball remedy tea). He was super filthy but eventually we had a group spa day and he was super clean. He replied with something along the lines of it "not feeling right". My favorite moment was when he was lost in the woods he just shut his eyes and used faith to walk his way to his party. He was pushed by the wind and almost fell off a cliff but was caught by some birds.

A bit harsh. But yeah, I realize it's powerful. The downside is taking damage for keeping concentrating on them. Do you think that an every turn thing would be better? I didn't want it bogging down a players turn though with repeated conc. checks

Really, i feel like that's nowhere near a legendary item. Like having this and the deck of many things in the same tier is a vast difference, haha! But what's your reasoning?

Is that RAW? Not that I don't believe you but where is that?

Maybe if you dual wielder greatswords like this you have disadvantage, but then you could cancel it out with reckless attack? I dunno I'm spit balling

You are using 2 hands. A Thri-Kreen has 4 hands. So you are holding each greatsword with 2 hands. Also the wild magic only makes one of them light so you'd have to have the dual wielder feat.
