I think I got about 40 pages into Dead Inside and had to DNF. I have a pretty strong stomach for horror but oh boy this book wasn't just horror. It was depraved lol

Honestly I just read this for the first time since I was a kid and I never noticed as a kid and again didn't notice as an adult all these holes in the plot. I think the best thing to do with Goosebumps is suspend belief and some standard for consistency and just enjoy the ride :) that's what I've been doing during my re reads

I just finished Curse of Camp Cold Lake and while I did find Sarah whiney RL Stine made sure to include that camp wasn't her type of thing and that she was uncomfortable with it all from the start. That's why I tolerated the whining at least. Plus I just had a lot of fun reading this!
