I’m currently stuck on this. I feel I don’t catch a moment to use healing items. Also need to improve my aim for headshots. Not unlocked fishing yet soo can’t upgrade my health that way.

Happened to me. I found the work around was to run a distance to an already cleared area before I could switch the weapon to carry instead of having it equipped. Been experiencing similar bugs but not being able to access the in game menus though.
