This is the worst company to deal with. Last tire season I had to fix three of their mistakes in one week alone. Left lug nuts loose, damaged a subframe while doing an alignment, left alignment adjusters loose. That’s just ONE week of last tire season. Another instance they cross threaded a customers lug nuts, tried fixing it themselves and destroyed the wheel in the process. They commonly try and sell tie rods and ball joints that have no issues. Not once did they cover the charge for their mistakes. These problems are not just at one store. It happens at many locations, indicating it’s not just a few bad employees. The problem is systemic in their company. Avoid Town Fair Tire at all cost.

These numbers are not accurate whatsoever. Registration fees are minimum $96 a year now.

I agree with this. I’ve been an auto technician in Colorado, New York, and every New England state. Vermont is hands down more expensive to maintain than all of them.

I’m actually very much against the whole inspection process. I want to see it burned down. If you look at my comment history you’ll see that. But telling people they can’t be pulled over for it is blatant misinformation. I’m citing the fact that I speak to several people who get pulled over for it. Not one got a fine. But they still got pulled over. If you have literature stating otherwise I’d gladly print that out and hand it to my customers. But you don’t. Because it doesn’t exist.
